Any news on Steam preload?

It says I can Play Now, as I already own it, on the front page but launched and saw nothing new...
 
Yup it's downloading now 975 MB. I'll see ya'll later. Have fun, have a good night and let us know any bugs or interesting things that have happened when it comes to the AI :D

The installation seems complete, but when I started up Civ V, I saw it was vanilla Civ 5. What gives? Why don't they give the expansion its own icon at least, or show it on the Steam games menu? :(

Looks like it didn't really unlock at midnight after all. It just vanished. POOF.

So there is also a Steam update as well....?
 
For those of you wondering: Start, or restart your Steam Client and Civ V should automatically start to update.

If you're like me and had it up lurking around Steam waiting for it to happen, it won't. Shut down and restart.
