Apocalypse Please

Right, what's with the protests? Short-term, yes, the industry has less funding. But ALREADY our descision to research new technologies has paid off. Our farmers have to work less hard than any other nation's to provide their families to provide even more food. Our mining techniques are developing slighlty slower but still at an incredible pace, and production techniques have been imported. They will also be the full focus over the next few years. Any Mongolian protesting science is blind to its power to provide for us. The only way to match its gifts in terms of productivity is to work like superhumans, which is frankly impossible. For now. Science makes all our lives better and easier, so bear with a few less resources now in order to have far more later.

The protestors should understand the truth stated by my comrade or the Mongolian army will have to enforce law and order and destroy any possible enemies of the state. The nation should be united in it's efforts to go forward and the Mongolian Army shall not allow anyone to threaten this unity!

[Order lock intensifies]

Everybody that isn't Cived failed to get in orders on time. Game over. Go home everybody.

Again, it is next to impossible for us to get orders in on time. I understand you want to do updates quickly, but it is too quickly considering all of us have to deal with not only other games, but also RL as well. If you have us maybe 4 days to get orders in, you would see a lot more versus what you get when you only give us 2.

No. It isn't impossible. I've seen most of you on the chat, posting around here, etc. You all had time to do that stuff, but not the five minutes to get in orders, which leads me to believe the interest players have in meeting the standards of the game set just isn't there.

The two/three day turnaround was established a week ago. It isn't impossible, considering IOTER, RIOT, RIOT, NRIOT, and a vast number of my other games had two/three day turnaround times.

At the end of the day, I set the schedule. If players don't want to meet the schedule I set, then they don't have to play, and if none of the players want to meet the schedule I set, then I just won't waste my time.

Forgive me it was the 6th that the turn started! You have locked the turn too soon, especially as you just implied only one player had their orders in! The 9th at least would have been blessed. Once more you failed to give a 24 hour or something; a GM should be considering to his or her players.

If you could lock orders tomorrow, it would be best and most players would get their orders.

I have been on chat and stuff yes, but that doesn't mean I can sit down and do orders. It just means I have it open in the background, or opened it up for a few minutes to relax and chat. I would be able to get orders in on time if there was an extra day or so in the turnaround. We might have 'time' but in such a short turnaround for getting orders in the 'time' that we do have we might want to spend elsewhere. Giving a longer turnaround would give us an extra day or so to find some time that we DO want to devote to this game.
