The fact that this was just a hoax still makes me shed a single manly tear every time I read it.

However, if Sid Meier won't be making this, has anyone considered taking the modding tools into their own hands about the challenge? Or at the very least, if not something so expansive, at least making an evolution themed mod for Civilization 4?
