Are cat owners owning more and more cats?

I've got 2 cats, and I love 1, and the other one I hate.

We have one cat, and everyone in my family (especially my dad) hates her, except for my sister and mother.

I've never had a cat because we somehow never got around to it and there were always reasons against it. There's a cat who I often stop to talk to on the way home from shopping - I call her Cuddlepuss. She comes running up, mewing and flirting, rubbing against my legs, rolling on her back and and generally being absolutely adorable. I don't know exactly where her people live, but I so want to kidnap her...

I think that i have once killed a cat, when i was 8 years old. I am not sure of it, since it may have been a dream, but i possibly hunted it to the edge of the balcony, and there used a stick so as to disable it from hanging from the bars, and so it was forced to let go and fall below.
It was a black kitten, which was acting with hostility- obviously because it was afraid of the new environment, which, in retrospect, it was right to be...

I cannot speak for my fellow cat servants....er, owners, but I've always been enslaved, er owned two cats since I've been an adult. Over the years I have finally settled on Fresh Step clay litter. It does well, I scoop it daily and have to change it out completely about every 5-7 days.

The only pets we have ever had are cats, I know what to do and how to act with a cat. With dogs I havent a clue especially annoying hyper ones, I just want them to piss off.

Most people I know who have cats own only the one.

I want a cat, and intend to get one sometime. The only two cats I ever knew properly was my parents one and an old friends one. Both were almost identical, right down to colour,weight and being house cats that - whenever they got half a chance to go outside - would stop at the door and realise they weren't fond of what they saw before running back in. Wouldn't stop them from forgetting and trying again a few moments later

Hah, i should try to find that newstory where this woman owned over 150 cats in her house and officals had to condemn the building because of the smell of cat feces and urine.

Nah, I own a cat and I'm okay. One cat good over 4 and I might begin questioning things.

maybe. however I hate cats with the flame of a thousand volcanoes. I live in a heavy urban area and city cats roam in herds, pissing and crapping on everything. They also fight, which while entertaining, is annoying as balls when youre trying to sleep.
