Are moderators allowed to moderate forums out of their jurisdiction?

I would guess yes because I've seen bans happen here in Site Feedback, where Thunderfall is the only mod, but when that dude Pick Bush ran around posting gay hardcore porn everywhere, I remember reading Padma saying he couldn't do anything about deleting his offtopic posts, as he had no power their.

Mods should be able to ban anyone as members post in different forums anyway so a mod that can ban posters can ban any posters but they may not have access rights to edit and delete posts in particular forums. TF is the only person who can end a ban I believe.

Obviously Mods will try to avoid modding other forums than their own unless it is neccessary.

Where there is actual disruption (like a flame war) or other serious matter (porn, flagrant abuse, or flagrant trolling) any moderator will act anywhere. For lesser matters they may post an "advice" and/or message the desginated moderator about the problem.

Lefty am I dreaming or did your fingers incidentally hit the "delete post" button over a few posts ? ;)

Too bad, I had already brought some popcorn for the show

Wierd, i thought i heard once that AoA was also a SuperMod.
Nope, nor would I accept such a postion.

It requires more work, and I have no interest in adding to my work load.
