Are posting limits listed somewhere?

While in the process of doing a library for the graphics mod forum, I've hit some limits. First I noticed a one post every 30 seconds limit when I tried to "reserve" some posts, and today I got smacked in the face by a 10 images per post limit. Unlike the time one, however, this one didn't have the actual limit listed on the error message and I had to keep trying until I figured out where the line was drawn. Is there a page somewhere listing these types of settings? I didn't see anything in the faq or forum rules about it...

I don't think the limit on # of images is listed anywhere. I should add this info to the forum rules page... :)

Hey while your at it maybe you could post the characcter limit too
I think it's 500, although I'm not sure.

15000. I think I remember starlifter vaguely mentioning it at one time (he was probably the only one who could hit it  ), 'cause he had to break up his post into two parts.

Whoa.... 15,000.... I thought a 5000 page essay was alot!! I typed that up in 30 minutes! Wonder how long it took him to type that up.

The most awful limit is that of the smilies, do they count towards the 10 images? And when you hit the limit, your entire text is lost - the back button gives a blank sheet.

Yes, the smilies count toward the 10 images - after all, they are pictures added to your text.
I think the limit should be based on the total file size of the images, not the number of them. Or is there a reason why 11 small images would be worse than 5 huge images?

Not 15000 pages, 15000 'characters'. ;) Not unachievable...

I think you need to set something on your browser for it to appear. I remember hitting the images limit a few times, but still manage to get back to my draft post to edit it...
