Are there any interesting Alien-centered conspiracy theories?

:)

I do know of Roswell (indeed it is the most famous one and one of the very few which was quite known even before the internet era), but have not really read a lot about it. I just know the autopsy 'pictures' and the spacecraft image.

By 'theory' i am mostly referring to a more general view, as in "aliens live here and control governments" to mention a very mundane (by now) and popular one. 'The earth is hollow and aliens (or proto-earth species, in another variation) live there' would be another one :)

Among these advanced teachings is the story of Xenu (sometimes Xemu), introduced as the tyrant ruler of the "Galactic Confederacy". According to this story, 75 million years ago Xenu brought billions of people to Earth in spacecraft resembling Douglas DC-8 airliners, stacked them around volcanoes and detonated hydrogen bombs in the volcanoes. The thetans then clustered together, stuck to the bodies of the living, and continue to do this today. Scientologists at advanced levels place considerable emphasis on isolating body thetans and neutralizing their ill effects.

Hardly a conspiracy theory, though. This is just the plain truth.

What's really strange is that some people apparently believe this.

Who knows? Maybe they're right. What other explanation could there be?

:)

From a decent pop documentary on Lovecraft i found out that supposedly there are "cultists" who believe the "Elder beings" exist in some way, and try to channel some of them.

The overall mythology of the Old Ones is quite interesting. In the end it seems they were star-traveling aliens who were first on our planet and then killed each other in a massive revolt/war. :)

Also in one of Lovecraft's letters he mentions someone in Providence who read some of his stories and claimed that the monsters in them were real, and so on ;)

The only interesting conspiracy theories belong to r16. I think that the Turks are best for that. Probably because of the deep state.

Some of those theories do in fact contain aliens.

how ? In the sense ı date Klingon Space Marine chicks ?

this Deep State epithet is something you should be real careful attaching to someone .

as you are just about calling me a murderer , pimp , drug trafficker , foreign asset and racist all at the same time . And am not even angry ; or ı might have thought a few more to add to the roster .

there's still Democracy in Turkey , you could just get me arrested with "evidence" , namely a thread on the web ...

though ı did of course command some recon cruiser , doing one scientific mission or two . Truly boring , too ...
