Ares I hope your fix the terrirtory in this one and the Plains look like wastelands and plains aren't waste lands; they are fields of wheat and in this one could you make it lighter? Its so dark that I'm afraid I might not use it...I like mine light...like snoopy's and ah...that's it, for now.

Whoa guys, I guess I'll have to thank you for your comments again. Don't know where to start... Ok, the swamps. They are only slightly modified, I can't tell how much they will change until release. The coastlines, in contrast, will change a lot. I looked through a bunch of satellite pictures and I hope I can reproduce the look of a real beach - at least a little bit. The plains will be redone, too.

This will take some time. I want to be fully confident with what I release, and I think you'll understand.

Ya I wasn't seein things thats good. Sometimes only slighty modified is the key cause those green marshes, they were almost perfect before. but they are perfect now.
So It was little turfs of muskeg seperating the ponds and "enriching the marsh enviroment" after all (don't take seriously)

Just wanted to say I'm still working on the terrain but with slow progress at the moment (RL got me again). I've been looking for pictures of beaches and plains to create these parts of my terrain as realistic as I can do. The plains are still a tricky part of the job, though.

If everything's going according to plan, the pack will be ready in 1-2 weeks.

You mean the plains, right? I have not decided yet, but I rather won't use material for the new texture that has been around already. You don't like the VP? You're free to use another.

Personally (and I know I'm in minority here) I like the plains very much .

I prefer more yellow plains, that way it looks more like dry grass than just brown earth.
But Ares is da boss, of course.

I live in plains and they don't look like the current ones...they are beufiful rolling fields of golden grain.

It's not an insult... But did you see any hills to look like those? Or any grasslands sooo green? They have to be beautiful and suggestive, they don't have to resemble real places.
