Playing around with new beach and plains textures.

Actually, personally I think I prefer the look of the coast you previewed on the previous page, with the lighter water along the beach merging more gradually into the deeper water (giving it a slightly hazy look), rather than the more clearly defined "wave" look you've got going here.

I ran into several problems with the first attempt, so I needed to change it a bit. I'm glad that you like the other one, too.

Yep, I thought so, too.
These are not the final textures, just playing around. I'll refine them, just wanted to show I'm still working on it. I applied them for testing purposes.

I like the plains, though I think you should try to smooth the plains/grassland boundary (which I assume you'll do, as it's not final ).

I think odin has a point about the slightly awkward conjunctions in places, but other than that these plains look excellent. Very nice texture.
