Definitely a nuclear submarine, rather than a normal one.

Also the paratrooper unit (knew this already with the art version) is based on a para from the British Parachute Regiment.

The jet fighter also appears to be a F35 Lightning II.

12agnar0k, that is no anti-tank gun, it's an artillery howitzer (based on reality, not on gameplay).

As I said in other thread it is Ticonderoga class missile cruiser. If you close up to the game picture and compare it to this image. You clearly see it has the same front and on the back you can even see the helicopter landing spot on the game picture. Also the most notable difference that clearly shows that its not the Destroyer is that it only has two smokestacks when Destoroyer has three and that the main antenna is between the smokestacks when on the Destoyer its infront of the first smokestack.

Civ2 used the F22 for the stealth fighter, so I'm slightly annoyed they returned to it.

They should have used the JSF/F35 or maybe the F14 for the fighter, or even the F4. Something different.

The JSF is "cost effective" and somewhat lacking in the gorgeous department.

The F-22 is the best looking fighter ever. Closely followed by the SU-27

Well, everyone is entitled to their opinion, and mine is different. I think the F-14 is the best looking Jet Fighter ever followed by the MiG-29 and the F15.
Of course, the Flanker and the Fulcrum have a strong resemblance.

Yeah true afficianados could argue all day about it. I know 'cause I work in the industry But I can respect your opinion because I'd pick the F-15 over the F-18 every time and I know I'm in the minority there.

Still - I think it will be some time before we see something as hot as the F-22 again.

Definitely an F-22. The missile cruiser is a Ticonderoga-class Aegis cruiser, and the nuclear sub looks like the Los Angeles or 688-class attack sub.

Oh? I thought it looked more like the Ohio class "boomer". Especially when you compare the tail rudders of both classes.
