I got the python exception with the Minister Koun event again. Game crashed before I could take a screenshot but I've uploaded the Autosave from right before it happened, I know the Minister Koun event doesn't always cause a crash, but maybe this will be helpful in trying to track it down.

can you check the log folder ? there should be a koun.log file which should help me with that one.

if you want to fix it yourself and continue that save :

go to Assets/Modules/Normal Modules/PPQ_NAVY/XML/ART/ Luchuirp_civ4artdefines_unit.xml and change GALLEON_CALABIM to GALLEON_LUCHUIRP in the first few lines.

I checked the file path for the log folder and checked in the folder but couldn't find a koun.log file. Maybe I was looking in the wrong folder. What's the typical path for the log folder where I would find this? Thanks.

Okay, thanks. I didn't see a koun.log file, but that could be because I started a new game and didn't look for that particular file until a lot of time had passed. Next time I get the Minister Koun CtD I'll check that folder to check for a log file from the date and time of the crash.

I have the steam version of civ4, I downloaded Ashes of Erebus 14.11 today, but when I start the mod, I get a lot of error messages, the game launches, but if I try to start a game, I get an immediate python exception and the UI doesn't load. Do you have any idea what my problem is and how to fix it?

could you show me the error messages you get ?
A possibility for that kind of issues is a language incompatibility.
 
And I get a lot of python exceptions when the mod is starting up, they say:

Failed to load python module CvEventInterface.
 
Playing as the Chislev for the first time in a long time and encountered two issues:

1) Although the Chislev can research religious techs they can't build temples, so lack a Tier 1 Disciple Unit to do a +20 Culture burst and pacify a newly conquered city, which slows them down in war. I don't think they need to be able to build temples necessarily, but I would suggest giving them a Tier 1 Disciple Unit. Not sure what to call it: Story Teller?

2) A Totem in one city doesn't provide replica Totems in nearby cities, as described in the Civilopedia. I don't know if the 'pedia is out of date or if the system isn't working as intended, but either way I thought it needed to be reported.

After a long game of Ashes of Erebus, 440 turns, my game dropped and won't restart. Why did this happen? Is there a fix to Civ IV that I haven't applied? This is a chronic problem. AoE is my favorite game.

from what i can gather, it's unable to find something that should exist from the base game. Can you show me the full folder path of your module install ?
