4 armies are to defend Arabia proper. Use the desert to draw the Sumerians in and then ambush them... They dont know the land well, and they dont now where the water is... Deny these to them and it doesnt matter how good their weapons are, they will dehydrate and starve... Allow no survivors. Use scorched earth if necessary and dont be afraid to posion a water supply if required.

The other three armies are to continue expansion in Africa with the specific intent to continuing to advance up the blue and white Nile but also into Ethiopia.

Build up defenses in Africa and Arabia using slave labour, work those Sumerians to death, they are worse than scum

Recruit a group of scouts to investigate Alderia. They are to do nothing but observe and gather information. Find out if they have any technology we don't have, find out if any civilizations lie beyond them, what their culture is like, etc.

Your massacre of our civilization has gotten so bad, I have a new word. Some Egyptian Greeks have came to my land and moved to Sumeria proper. They have taught us Greek and Egyptian. Romans also came for knowledge. They taught us two words, genos, meaning family, and occido, meaning to massacre or kill. I have created a new word myself to describe the mass killing in peoples of any kind: genocide.

This is a clear act of genocide. One fifth of the Sumerians have been killed. If we lose any ground to Arabia, then more will be killed.

We would expect nothing more or less from weak, degenerates such as yourself. Stop sending me these whiny messages of 'you did this, so now you must pay' as WE DONT CARE.

Siam!

After Alp Arslan's takeover, the Empire of Siam's domestic policy was increasingly mercantile. The people of Siam prospered through the erra of the Arslan dynasty economically. On the outside, everything looked grand. On the inside, there was a revolution afoot.

There was a very influencial Empress. Her name was T-wat And she fealt that all women in Siam should be treated as equal to their male counterpart. This idea was treated as hogwash for all of her life, but she began to organize some of the women.

Many years went by, as she organized the women into an active underground army. She employed a sympathetic general to teach them about military tactics and such. She made sure to keep these matters private from her husband. Eventually, her strength had reached every household near the capitol for a hundred miles... Then they struck!

The Emperor was having a feast with the nobles, and the women were dancing all around them, and serving them their feast, and sitting on their laps, and doing all the things women are expected to do....

Empress T-wat then entered the room, and the mood changed significantly, as the women servants and all drew weapons from wherever they were hiding them, and held them to their master's throtes. The Emperor, and all his nobles were shocked.

"What is the meaning of this!" asked he.

"You are going to give us equal rights right now!" said T-wat

"I can't do that, you know that!" replied the Emperor.

"Then you shall die." she declared, and the women went about slaughtering every male in the room, uncluding the Emperor's personal body guard after they felled 6 of the women.

A campaign was then made by the new army of women to bring the whole of Siam under the women. The "T-wat Empire", as it came to be called, took over the whole of Siam in under 10 years. Much bloodshed was had. And in the end, the women were in control.

The women then enslaved the men. Using them simply as farm equipment and for mating purposes. The army was now filled by ranks of women. The government posts all held by women. The Generals now women. The Empress at the helm, who had a harem of men, not one of them appointed as "Emperor". Her heir was the firstborn female.

People were still free to worship as they pleased, so long as the woman of the house directed the proceedings, and the religious doctrine wasn't opposed to this.

And this is how Siam was, for many centuries...

Zululand, Village of Bulawayo, Royal Hut of Emperor Shaka I

Disturbed by the noise outside, Emperor Shaka I decided to take a look at the things happening on the village square.

A band of warriors had caught a baby-elephant. Usually these beasts were very wild and dangerous, even the young ones. The men were preparing to kill it so it could be eaten by the tribe.

But this one seems very timid and the Emperor halted the slaughtering of the beast. The Emperor had it put in an enclosure.

That evening the Emperor gathered with his oldest and wisest tribesman in the Royal Hut about what to do with the elephant. It was decided that it should be tamed.

Many years later...

Many more elephants were caught and tamed. The elephants had become an important part of Zulu culture and to some degree Zulu religion.

The old Emperor Shaka I proudly looked at his son Shaka II, who one day shall become the new emperor of the Zulu Empire, riding on the back of a giant elephant, followed by fierce Zulu warriors also riding on elephant backs.

Many, many years later...

Emperor Shaka II, the new emperor of the Zulu Empire officially establishes the Cult of the Elephant, and with it Elephantianity, the official religion of the Zulu Empire that focuses on worshipping the Elephant God Ganesha.

Emperor Shaka also establishes the Order of the Elephant. The Order is responsible for training the mighty Zulu Elephant Cavalry (UU for the Zulu Empire).

Unfortunately. You are more than welcome to rejoin, however. Your stats will start out better than they would have at update 1, like I did with Zululand.

We mostly need more players for the Americas, to spice things up at least a little in the region. W steppe civilization would be fly, too.

- Expand the western border south, preventing the Alderians from expanding further east into Africa.
- Expand the eastern border quickly, trying to wedge into the closing gap between Egypt and the african peoples to the south. We must be able to expand further south.
- Using the Carthaginian Navy (one fleet), ferry troops to the mouth of the Congo River. This place should allow Carthage to access more slaves. YAY SLAVES!!!

- Begin work on Carthage's new wonder, the Temple to Resheph. Resheph, being Carthage's god of war, will boost the moral of the military. Also, this temple will help solidify Carthaginian culture. In short - Temple to Resheph (+Army, +Navy, +Culture).
- Thing about forcing slaves to build Carthaginian Naval ships. The idea could have more common fleets in the ocean.

Rouran is the name given to the confederation of nomad Avarian and Mongol tribes that have populated the steppe areas north of China for centuries. The confederation has come and gone under different names as strong rulers rose to power and died, once encompassing most of the are between Baikal and the Aral Sea under the Huns. While most Mongol tribes in the area are nomads who survive on herding, the Avarian tribes to the west of Lake Baikal have many farming villages along the plentiful rivers.

If you give me stats now I will be able to send orders for this turn.

STORY:
Excerpt from: A History of Minnestron Part II Chapter 3 - 300 A.E.
As many historians have assumed Minnestron, or "The Great Stone Soup Bowl Civilization", wasn't lead by Master Chief Camp'ell for multiple centuries. They have assumed that for each century, there was at least one or possibly more Master Chief Camp'ells. The one leading Minnestron at this period in history was John Camp'ell, and most of the councilers had the same surname as the historic councilers, but they are not mentioned much in Minnestronian history.

After the Louisiana Incident, Chief Camp'ell waited 10 years for any sign of the messenger, there had been none. That Chief then died and was replaced by John Camp'ell. John Campe'll was already old when he became Master Chief, and so he left the task of avenging the Louisiana Incident to his descendants, who began vying for power, as soon as he died.
