Astronomy from a Village hut?

I once got Astronomy from a hut too but it was on the Earth1000ad map

That's another very good one. On Earth 18 or Earth1000 I sometimes put off astronomy to see if I get it. Huayna Capac doesn't seem to cross the mountains, so S America is available, there are a couple in Australia and then some islands have huts. You can sometimes pop 7 or 8 huts while you're going for circumnavagation.

I got it in a game as England in that map if I remember correctly in the end of that game I had in addtion to the British Isles all of Scandinavia defeated the Vikings the eastern coast of North America,Jerusalem and Egypt. Also had the Incas and the Aztecs as vassals

The only time I ever got it I was in the middle of researching it. I was annoyed for a minute but then remembered that I had 10+ turns of research left.
