Simple quetion. Is the jump from 128 to 256mb video card RAM worth the extra 100 or so US$? The only performance gains I've seen in benchmarks are UT2003 at 8x AA 1600x1200 res.

What about future games? Is it a wise investment?

Hundred american dollars difference? Whoa, compusmart really is ripping us off.

my 128 runs fine.

I wouldn't shell out the extra money, unless you are really big into the 3D Doom 3 type games. Even then the price to performance margin, just doesn't seem worth it.

As Immortal said "my 128 runs fine."

I am with everyone elase so far. $100 can buy you alot. Its not worth it.

Stick with the 128mb, unless you really have a craving for 4x FSAA at 2048x1536 or 6x FSAA at 1920x1440...

If you see the difference between 60 fps and 100 fps or even 200 fps as some maniacs claim, it is worth it.
If you are like a normal human not able to distinguish between anything above 50 fps, you don´t need it.
:D

60 FPS and 100 FPS is a huge difference and most people can tell, considering they get to see both ;) But as most people have said, it's not worth the jump right now, not unless you are a power gamer on every level, have money to throw away, and/or are a graphics intensive user.
