Atlantic Treaty Organization-TWTUD Subthread

Spain pention's a hold on plans for the research for the Advanced Piston fighters for a small period of Time.

We will also be donating Rocketry to the ATO this year, ahead of Schedule.

May Germany inquire into the nature of why?

Italy will vote to admit both Serbia and Hungary.

Italy would also like every member nation to ensure every technology is shared this turn, for example we know we'll be sharing radar and sonar to those who don't know it. Meanwhile we will be contributing to the fund.

Eire Votes Aye for the inclusion of Hungary and Serbia.

Germany cautions strongly against the inclusion of Hungary into the ATO, at least until the affairs likely caused by their government in our capitol are resolved.

Perhaps a Council of Nations investigation should be called to see just how the Hungarians were involved?

UCS votes Yay on Serbia, but abstains on Hungary.

Perhaps a Council of Nations investigation should be called to see just how the Hungarians were involved?

We will negotiate with the Hungarians to find the root of this problem by ourselves. Recent intelligence proves they are willing to work with the German government.

If, however, the Hungarians end up not cooperating, we will call an investigation. Until this matter is resolved, however, Germany votes that the question of Hungarian inclusion be postponed indefinitely.

A Letter Is Delivered to the headquarters of the ATO for review:

The Republic of South Africa would like to ask for submission into the Atlantic Treaty Organization. Having coasts on both the Atlantic and Indian oceans we feel will bring much prosperity to the current members. We are also willing to help with the joint research of technologies should we be allowed membership.

Germany is pleased that the Republic of South Africa is showing interest in the ATO and votes Aye on her admittance.

NPCs all agree to admit South Africa

America votes Yes on the admittance of South Africa

Italy votes abstains on the inclusion of South Africa. They have shown themselves to be untrustworthy in the past, however we will not go so far as to try and deny them a spot since the times have indeed changed.

Eire also Abstains over South Africa

lurker's comment: it would give a vote of confidence if you added to that section that an ATO nation commiting an act of agression does not require ATO aid, only defense.

OOC: Good clarification point, thanks.

Germany changes her vote to Yes for Hungarian admittance.

The Republic of South Africa will be contributing 1 EC for technological expenses.
