Auction window not working...

I also posted this on the Sticky Notes thread for glitches, but because it looks like that thread doesn't get read/uptdated as often as the main thread, I'm posting it here also...

I'm playing against AI competitors. When an auction or patent comes up I cannot bid or even close the window.. the mouse will hi-lite the 'raise bid by $10,000 or $50,000 button but will not accept the 'click' - It's like the window is 'inactive' - Very frustrating. It doesn't matter whether I start the auction or the AI player starts it- If I start it, as soon as the AI player outbids me, I cannot up the bid or interact with that window at all....

It will do that if you don't have enough money to meet the high bid. So make sure you have enough money before you start an auction. It really should give you a "you don't have enough money" message, but instead it just accepts the click but doesn't do anything.

thanks for the response - I know I had enough money, however, it may be a moot point as the next game I played, everything was working fine - auctionwise. Maybe (hopefully) a one time glitch.

I had this happen to me during one game also, but it too was only for one game. No rhyme or reason......
