With Australia + Machu Pichu you can raise your adjacency bonus for commercial hubs to 10 if you have a tile with river and surrounded by 5 mountains (theoreticaly even 11 if you are completely surounded by mountains). Further with "Free Inquiry" + "Town Charters" you end up with 20 Gold + 20 Science just for one tile without any building!! The hardest problem for higher difficulties will be to obtain Machu Picchu faster than the AI.

With Japan and a coastal city i got a 36 gold harbor tile thanks to Reyna, gov plaza and 100% harbor stuff.

I think i had 2 fishes adjacent to harbor.

Japan can get you crazy adjacencies.

Here a +15 (+45 with Reyna+policy) gold&science (free inquiry golden age) commercial hub, together with a +7 (+21) harbour:

I really like this combo as Reyna will boost both your harbor and your CH

@Tabarnak I don't think you can excede +27 for a Japanese harbour
