Anyone else unable to place districts after the update?
Where did you get this idea that Firaxis expects modders to fix the UI? Info Wars?
Did someone overhear unspoken conversations where that expectation was the main
topic?
I like that Firaxis allows modders to create UI variations that suit different players
at different stages of Civ addiction.
A UI that might suit you better is not guaranteed to be easier for many others.
It might be too complicated, or show far too much information for new players,
and far too little for experienced players who want to see some things more quickly,
or in different places on the screen.
What do players do if they don't like your preferred UI, or Paradox's UI style for Civ?
Find modders to fix the UI so it suits them better?![]()

If the leader animations look blurry to you or the graphics look "better" on lower settings, that is 100% your computer's performance being poor, and not a problem with the game. Low framerate on the animations due to a bad graphics card will make the motion blur much heavier and uglier.

For the people who asked here are the full listings of all bias types for all leaders as of the newest patch. Ordered by civilization. BiasType and BiasType_Category aren't real fields in the database, they are just names I used in order to match up results from the 4 various tables that control biases.
I might be wrong, but I thought lower is better for those - i.e. 1 is first priority, 2 is second priority, etc.I'm surprised Indonesia has only 2 coast bias - less than Australia or England. Unlike those 2, all Indonesia uniques work with coast only and only a couple of them could do so with lakes. Expected to see 4 or 5 here.
What do you guys think of the AI so far? It sure seems like there are a lot of units floating around in Immortal -- I don't remember this many even on the Deity of old, but maybe that was changed a patch ago?!

Civ 6 UI is still in alpha, and they just added more easy modding for it so that people who are better at UI can make it better. That's pretty rough, but it's the implication when it's still this junk after a year.
Second, I had a Barb Spearman NOT retreat to his camp when fairly injured. He staggered somewhat towards my undefended city, where my fresh Worker was just about to get to work. The injured Scout was still near, but not on, the camp. The Spear behavior was utterly new, I've likely cleared 1,000 camps.
I've noticed for some reason I'm starting very near Natural Wonders much more often. Not sure what I think of that.
about time!Improved AI’s naval gameplay, including protection and healing of naval units, building a proper navy, and assaulting coastal cities
I just had a barb scout attack my (undefended) city - so much for not picking battles they can't win lol
Ever played Bethesda TES/Fallout games? They not only ship PC game with minimal console-like UI, they also don't fix any content-related bugs, leaving ALL this to modders
Civ is quite good compared to it. It's UI is totally usable as is and is easy to mod for those who want more.
Not always, but for a while. Some of the weaker civs got buffed in the previous patch, including Norway.Has Harald always had +50% production toward melee naval units? I don't recall seeing that before today.
