I use paint to resize and GIMP to convert to *jpg or de-size(kb).
Just open picture in paint, choose "attributes"(under image), take a look how big picture is:

(like 120x200 picture). Share 100/120=0,83... or 83%
and 100/200=0,5 or 50% then I choose Stretch/skew and put these % in ,
That gives nice 100x100 pic, now I to make it 'proper' ratio of pixels 120/200=0,6
or Height=60% and wideness=100%, that keeps the Width:height ratio that original pic had.




(Side question: ((if there is any gimp-users here)). In gimp, how can i turn it into 'English' language, do not see option in menu and hate Estonian translation.)

Others can do better quality and resizing, I belive, I'm just a beginner in these things.
