Bad audio running on Bootcamp

I've thus far been running the full game on my 2 yr old iMac using Bootcamp and Windows 7 (32 bit) and it's all been pretty much great! A couple minor hiccups, but I'm sure those will get worked out.

One thing in particular that is frustrating me is the audio. It's coming across distorted, and my volume controls respond wonky while playing. Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas or solutions??

Thanks!!

I've had a few other problems pop up now (nothing too serious as I've still been able to play the game through to completion). I'm wondering if anyone can share links to some threads that may already be addressing topics such as:
- ideal settings for running on Bootcamp,
- and workarounds for common problems.

Thanks!

You did install all the drivers right?

Yeah. I believe it's all up to date. I mean, it's running through Steam, so that in itself is designed to keep a game up to date easily.

It's funny/annoying because when I play the game on my laptop (MacBook running Windows7 32 bit), the audio plays fine. I wonder if it has something to do with an iMac audio thing...
