Bad Company 2 has more stuff to offer than Modern Warfare 2.
There's a lot of cover on the bases. And tanks come with machine guns. Try pointing them at the choppers.

If anyone wants to have a CFC game of BFC2, and have a mic (though you could just listen in), we can use the CnB teamspeak 3 server which makes it easier to communicate and get into the same squad on the same team. Also helps a lot in finding a good server, or finding a new one if the current server sucks (or the people on it suck).
I do, have even nailed a couple with the main guns. The problem comes when the tanks are destroyed and the helicopters are still up(which happens far to often), plus the small spawn area that every helicopter pilot bombs back to the stone age doesn't make it any easier.

The trcer darts go at 4x the speed they did pre-patch, its quite effective and much easier to take out a heli with an RPG up the butt.

I have killed more than a few heli's on that map with the AA-guns. It takes real skill to survive more than a minute or two in a heli on that map.

Keep shooting at them then. The M95 is pretty nice against choppers. So is a UAV with V Alt W.
Spawn on squad mates or move to a safe location quickly when you spawn.

I like the chopper, so I wouldn't know why people would want to shoot it down? I'm not an annoying person.

I hate it when people stop what they're doing (defending a point, taking a point, keeping an eye out for enemies and killing them) and start firing whatever they have at the heli, since 40mms will probably miss, and most weapons have no effect.

Any gun will kill the pilot if you shoot through the cockpit windows. Nothing pisses off the chopper pilot more than standing in the middle of the road as he shoot missiles at you and then just headshotting him with a MP-443

If you can hit him enough to kill him, which you shouldn't be able to if he's any good (or can't fly, since he'll flip over and/or crash somehow within seconds of taking off).

The enemy team is probably full of 12 year olds who have amassed sick skills in their no-live gameplay history. So why waste it with stupid camping. Just get a kick-ass name ,scream banzai through your TS servers like a lunatic and charge the enemy head on.
Always works for me.....
But I'm pro and not 12, so it might not work for you.....
