Bad Company 2 better than MW2? Two minutes pure gameplay

I'll just gun him down from long range with my M416 w/ 4x scope, grenade launcher, and magnum ammo, incidentally my favorite weapon. The only thing it can't do is deal enough damage to vehicles.

As it should be!

The enemy team is probably full of 12 year olds who have amassed sick skills in their no-live gameplay history. So why waste it with stupid camping. Just get a kick-ass name ,scream banzai through your TS servers like a lunatic and charge the enemy head on.

Always works for me.....

But I'm pro and not 12, so it might not work for you.....

I do it though because the other teams all camp and shoot long range so they don't expect me to blaze in.

Yay! Another person who uses that same combo more or less (plenty use the AN94 or M16).

Remind me not to let you play on an opposite team.

I will fart down your gun, and make you weep for mercy... no matter what the conditions are.

Not in the least. The AN94 does 20 (until 18 meters) and then drops down to 16.7 damage. The XM8 and M416 do the same damage but the latter has a faster fired rate, reload speed and less recoil.

The AEK-971 and M16A2 do the same damage too, but the latter has less recoil and reloads faster.

EDIT: The G3 kicks all the other assault rifle's collective buttocks.

Also the Helicopters buttocks?

That is what RPG-7s and tracer darts are for ^_^

EDIT: New patch coming soon once it is done being tested.

The client update will be roughly 500MB in size.

The Balance tweaks are as follows:

Slightly increased the damage of the UZI at long range.
The AKs74u now has more felt recoil when aiming.
The G3, VSS, and all SemiAutomatic rifles now settle slightly faster between shots when aiming.
The PKM, Type 88LMG, G3, An94, and 40mm shotgun have returned to their former glory. <- Why the hell would the increase the damage of the G3 and AN94? They are already the best assault rifles in the game.
Increased the damage of the MG3 to bring it in line with the rest of the LMGs. <- YAY!
Fixed a bug where the Saiga12 with slugs would do too much damage at long range.
Fixed a bug where the SVU would do too little damage at long range.
Fixed a bug where M95 rounds would not kill armored targets with headshots.

Great minds think alike. :) I'm of the opinion that people who use the AN94 and M16A2 are too lazy to burst-fire themselves. At least with the M416, you can select from 2-burst all the way to full automatic for varying conditions.

XM8 is superior, nothing but iron sights.
It's the same, except the XM8 has this weird sideways recoil. The M416 has only vertical recoil, much easier to compensate for.

EDIT: The G3 kicks all the other assault rifle's collective buttocks.
Good damage and accuracy, but it's nice to have a scope and grenade launcher sometimes. And more bullets. :)

Also, nice chart. :goodjob:

Um, no not really. Those people are never near the top of the scoreboard unless their team lacks even a single half-competent medic. I've yet to see any assault using their ammo kit as often and effectively as a medic uses their heal kit.

Besides, skill still plays a big part no matter the weapon, I've gotten good k/d ratios with the MG36 and no extra bonuses to help it (magnum etc) since as a Medic my priority is helping my team which is mostly healing them and then helping them kill enemies. The extra healing bonuses net me a ton of points, heal more of my teammates faster, and are a much bigger help than some run and gun magnum ammo "medic" tard.

Played a round on that snowy rush map, Port Valdez IIRC. I went recon and managed, somehow, to headshot one of the enemy players as they were parachtuing down to the ground at the start. Pure luck, of course, but pretty darned cool. The dude raged at me for aim botting.

A few days into it and I'm rather enjoying the game, though it has had the side-effect of making me wish I was playing BF2. It also has a rather large amount of people who are far to willing to remind me I'm not always that great at online shooters.

Single-player is also rather fun. Who knew John Lennon wasn't actually killed, but became a chopper pilot for the US military? Peace and love my arse.

Haven't really bothered with the single player myself. Played the first couple levels when there was some online connection troubles at release, but wasn't especially interested by it though it appeared solid enough.

It was worth a playthrough, though it suffers from a horrible case of being the middle of a trilogy, as they don't give you any real background info and I don't even remember who the hell the villain was, some russian dude I think.

But it was fun.

The single player didn't work very well for me and crashed sometimes. Then there was a really annoying part where I got killed like 5 times in a row and when I managed to get through it it crashed before the check point... I never played the single player again.

The worst SP glitch I've had so far is having the rest of the team refuse to move any further, and having to take out a machine-gun nest without any area to flank by myself.

I say glitch, on that occasion I would say the AI were quite sensible not to move up.

Spoiler :
He dies.
