I've got you - I know I've almost squeezed you completely & then I made this stupid move (tried to made smart move a-la "closed variant of English opening") & this thing just blasted in my hands... Pls, explain - why I didn't make plain & sensible 11. Bxe4??? Stupid...

Bxe4 was certainly the move I expected back then.Would have left me with a problematic d pawn.
