Benito Mussolini: Leaderhead Preview

Here's another leaderhead I'm working on at the moment, hopefully to finish a WWII leaderhead pack, or at least make the most leaderheads from that era as I can

So here's a preview of El Duce's face. Any tips/suggestions on how to improve his face or how he should be dressed/which backdrops should he have during the different eras will be welcome

Well.. it would seem sensable to dress him as a Roman in Ancient Times, a knight/noble in Middle Ages, A Napoleanic Style General in the Intustrial Ages, and of course as as Fascist Dictator in Modern Times.

Ancient: Roman Noble(Dah!)
Medival: Italian Prince/Renaisse look, perhaps reminscient of Machiovelli(The Author of "The Prince")
Industrial: Mob Boss type look, maybe like the Godfather, with a Mustach like Vito from the movies..
Modern: The standard, historical Mussilini

This is Mussilini...I can put him in that box all I want...he deserves it..
The Mob represented Italian Trash, not all Italians at large, and Mulilini certainly fits in the Trash catagory

looks promising.. I'd use him. Trash or not, that's for historians to decide. To me, him being a fascist aside, he did not only bad for his country.

Ah, but wouldn't the Mafia crack down on other opposed Organized Crime outfits? Tyranny is a crime anyway, and its very organized..

Actually were the Allies who used the Mafia to land on Sicily on 1943. And if you think that italians are only mafious, I think that you must re-read some historical book.

About Benito:

1. It is too slim and too young, Mussolini have power for 20 years, and he took it when he was 40.
   
2. eras:
   • Ancient: obviously a roman emperor (like fascist propaganda!), could be Nerone (Nero?)
     
     
     
     
     
     Background: I can send to you the background used by me for Justinian splash (search it on forum).
     
   • Medieval: he could be a Florence's Medici, like Lorenzo il magnifico.
     
     
     
     
     
     Background: the tribuna of Uffizi.
     
     
     
     
     
   • Industrial: there are 2 option:
     the classic Fascist style with EUR on Rome as background.
     
     
     
     
     
     More old one (1800-first 1900): Prime minister of the kingdom, like Camillo Benso, count of Cavour (1800)

     Background: the italian parliament

It's looking pretty recognisable already. Don't forget to give him that classic Mussolini nose - it would be great if he moves his head enough for us to see its magnificence!

Also, I think that instead of frowning when he gets angry, he should puff himself up and stick his bottom lip out. That would simply be awesome.

Mussolini was the subject of many sarcastic popular songs of ww2 Greece. Although i bet that times were horrible back then..

Thanks for the suggestions. In the first post there is a new preview: tried to make his a bit more fat (especially his neck), and added a few wrinkles on his face (perhaps a bit too little still), and added him his roman clothes for the ancient era.

Thanks especially for your suggestions on clothing for him. I'll use the first two ones, and then I'll use the oldest example for his industrial era, leaving the fascist one for the modern (though I could try making an alternative one for his modern era, like I did with Hitler). I'll try to create the hat he uses in the pic with Hitler, though if that doesn't work he'll probably wear nothing on his head

Bumping this thread in case anyone wants to suggest any change for his face now... Otherwise I'll enter on the final stage of making him (adding clothes/background pics) in a day or two (planning on a release for this weekend or first days of next week)

It's hard to tell without his hat...Infact...I am not even sure what he looks like with out it...I am not sure I have ever seen a good picture of him without that.
