Best Band Ever?

ya see, for me alot of the bands mentioned, green day, sun 41 have no right to be in a greatest band EVER poll. They havent been around long enough.So yes that eliminates this whole pop, rap pop, rock pop garbage. ( i cant stand most of it) Thats like saying Britney Spears is the most beautiful woman in the world. No there are many many many that come before her that were alot more beautiful. Liz Taylor for example. Persoanlly, if it hasnt been out for at lest 25 yrs, it doesnt deserve to be on here. The Beatles and The Stones, were probally the 2 best bands ever. They changed the world. Now im gonna get all kinds of ppl saying what about Stevie Wonder, Chuck Berry and such. Dont worry, I like both, but from a worldwide popularity and household familiarity perspective, beatles and stones. Go into almost any house world wide and ask them about the Beatles. Most will start singing one of thier songs. Ask them who Chuck Berry is..........blank stare. Elvis is also very popular world wide.
I persoanlly am a C&W fan, and one of my all time favorites is Hank Williams. And George Strait. True musicians who are true to thier form and love doing it. Still not as popular as the stones or the beatles.
But thats just my .02, wrong or right its my opinion.

i dont like saying there is a greatest band ever because maybe 1 or 2 years ago all i was listening to was led zeppelin and pink floyd but now its old. they havent come out with a new song for ages and thats why i listen to new bands now because they come out with new songs and they still tour.
so i dont think there is a greatest rock band because new bands come out everyday and havent reached their potential yet. maybe at the end of time we can look back and decide. but even then it would be only opinion.
