So I was out walking the dog just now when a guy rolls down the window of his parked car and tosses out a half-full [half-empty? :hmm:] styrofoam cup of coffee. There was no garbage can nearby - he was clearly littering with wild abandon.

I picked up the coffee cup and....

Spoiler :
...showed it to him, as if I thought he might have been mistaken and he had simply dropped it. When he made the 'It's OK' hands, I placed the cup on the roof of his car.

I know what I wish I had done. I wish I had placed it underneath one of his windshield wipers in such a way that the coffee spilled onto his windshield.

I'm interested to hear anyone else's stories of Instant Karma or Spontaneous Retribution.

Should've tossed it back in the window.

He was too fast - the window went down halfway, cup came out, window went back up.

And the window motor was fast! This was a Mercedes that was less than 5 years old.

Darn motors! He never would have gotten away with this if he had to crank it by hand

I'll never forget this moment in middle-school. One of my friends was sliding down some stairwell railing, and I said that he'll fall off and hurt himself if he keeps doing it. He said something along the lines of "screw you, I know what I'm doing," so I got angry and pushed him off the railing. He swung 180 degrees around the bar and landed head first on the concrete stairs. After taking him to the nurse's office, they asked what had happened and I told them "he fell off some railing he was sliding down." They checked my record for delinquency, and I was clean, so they let me go.

I guess I received some bad karma of my own, having the guilt to confess this sin on a forum -_-

Let's let the late great Joffa Smith (aka Frobush) show you what you should have done:

RIP man. Hyper Sports and Cobra were awesome on the Spectrum!

Last Thursday I was in a chess tournament & wanted to get my blood sugar up. There are really no healthy options to be had near this particular location but then I thought I'd hit up the fitness club across the street after I saw they had a smoothie bar. I decided to order a banana-strawberry one but noticed that instead of using actual strawberries they were pouring this red sludge into the blender with the banana and ice. I asked them what it was. The dude was like "It's strawberry", I'm like, :hmm:, doesn't look good & aloud I asked if it had sugar, dude was like "Only 'natural sugar' man". I doubted it but I'd already paid so was like whatev & left with it. So I start drinking it & feel like I've taken a drug, must've had a ton of artifical all-sorts-of-crap in it & was clearly loaded with sugar.

Even though I'm a health nut I can generally tolerate a fair amount of sub-par food but this smoothie was giving me some sort of allergic reaction or something. My concentration was crap the whole 3rd match, I felt seriously ill. I lost the 3rd match, losing out on the $50 prize. I may had lost anyway but my physical & mental state contributed as well as the burn of being lied to by this idiot who didn't really care one way or another.

I decided to go back to get my money back but the place was closed. I was livid & very tempted to toss the drink right against the glass but instead just placed it in front of their store & left.

I suppose I technically littered. Litter I don't particularly mind much except for smokers who toss their smoking butts on the street without even putting them out.

Quick second story. The neighbors have two big dogs & never seem to clean up their <snip> so the other day I made a sign out of a discarded wooden chair & wrote on it "Please clean up you dog <snip>" and stuck in in the lawn between two piles. The management must've seen it but nobody moved it for at least two days, maybe they agreed.

Jesus Narz, it sounds like the restrictions you put on your diet have a real bad effect on yuor immune system. I think you should try expanding your diet or something because food/drink just plain should not have such a drastic and immediate effect on someone.

I'd be concerned with the collateral damage proposed with these acts of revenge here.

It may be that those foods always had such an effect. It gets masked by a tolerance reaction, like drugs.

This sounds more psychosomatic than anything.

Yeah, even my muted response caused me to experience quite a bit of anxiety as I walked away.

This is, after all, in a neighborhood of New York City, where it's always safest to assume that half the people you see are borderline crazy. This guy could have grabbed a tire iron (or worse) and chased me down the sidewalk. I'd like to think my ferocious dog deterred him. But I know that she's really just a frightened little puppy inside.

Well, everything has a psychological component but there was definitely some allergens in there. I eat stuff I know I shouldn't all the time but don't get reactions like that.
