I've noticed quite a bit of rivers too, although i'm not sure if it's an actual trend or not.

I do like how you blamed me for your overreaction from a meme. The OP doesn't say anything about "testing an overflow" so I assumed you really gonna add a proc which contribute to proc'ing itself. Having Lebensraum is already bad enough, but at least the amount of border expansions per city is limited.

I don't think you get it, so let me explain.

Asking for clarification of the wording of the change-log is one thing, and is valid. Mockery without context is something else entirely, and is uncalled for. Do you really consider the posting of a textless meme - a meme specifically designed to mock me, no less – to be an effective means of communicating a question about something being intended or not?

If you genuinely believe that it is both effective and respectful, then I think it behooves you to step back and consider your capacity to communicate effectively. I cannot fathom that you would behave in such a manner towards other people in public, which leads me to believe that the shield of anonymity is your excuse. Using anonymity as a tool for crass behavior is, frankly, immature, and should be avoided.

In the future, express yourself via a question or statement (using words). The potential for miscommunication is drastically reduced through the employment of the alphabet.

If these points are not clear, please let me know, and I'll do my best to break them down further for you.

If you persist in arguing with me, it will simply reinforce my earlier point that it's really not worth trying to work with you in the future. You have no argumentative ground to stand on here, thus your best bet is to apologize so that we can move on with the project.

Yes, I've also noticed the trend with rivers not long ago. There's tons of them now (playing on Continents plus). Have there been a civ steam update by any chance?

Awesome work, Gazebo. I know UI is your weakness, so kudos for bothering with those things.

I actually had a few games where every tile in workable range of my capital had freshwater access. On the other hand I've had games completely without rivers as well, kinda weird.

What a meanie indeed. I guess should we kill all negative people so everyone would live happily afterwards?
... Are you really trying to gather sympathy for the fact that you're negative?

Criticism, pointing out things you think are wrong, saying things people don't want to hear is not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the mocking, gratuitously cynical and sarcastic comments, and always trying to make other people feel bad for no reason other than your own ego-stroking. From the moment I came back and saw your first post, this is what I've seen.

I'm all for free speech by the way, I wouldn't ban you or anything of the sort if this were my forum. But the truth still remains that you don't make any attempt to be constructive and instead, make an effort to be a negative influence on this forum. Don't expect sympathy for that.

Danke. Weakness...yeah, it is. Well kinda. I just hate working with lua because load/reload takes forever when debugging. :)

Oh, hey, forgot to ask – how's the new artwork feeling for everyone? I'm not an artist, but I do what I can (the stuff I replaced was pretty low-res...).

Speaking of UI changes to the Trade Route Destination screen, would it be possible to put the :trade: trade route icon next to a CS that has the trade route request quest?

It's already there - it's the international trade route icon (circle with the city inside of it).

In CP or just CBP? I didn't notice it in my last game (unless it's in this latest update).

The splash screen when you load up a game looks a bit off for my resolution. The image is a bit pixelated at 1920x1080. I honestly liked the old splash screen better since it hid that stuff pretty well. Also, the left margins for the civilization text is a bit too small. I didn't really notice any other art changes though o.0 can someone make a summary of those?

That's all EUI-related stuff, but I'd definitely let bc1 know (as I just keep EUI sync'd up with the CBP's EUI). Truth be told, I don't much care for the full-screen loading art myself.

New art = icons for a couple of buildings, i.e. Stockyard (now Agribusiness), Mission, Odeon (now Acropolis), Throne Room, Royal Guardhouse, and...something else I'm forgetting.

Looking at the icons (not just those, all of them), I can say that I could provide you with better ones for a lot of these, but you said in another post that you don't want to change because you don't want to hurt some people's feelings (which I kinda disagree with because I feel quality has a higher priority than feelings, but whatever).

Forgot to mention: I'm a little concerned by the lowering of the bonus gold from trade routes in river cities. I fear that this, along with the across-the-board reduction of income from international trade routes, might make the bonus a non-factor. For one, I like the immersion that settling a city on a river bank and making that city a trade hub creates, but I also feel like this is potentially a balance issue. That's due to the fact that the bonus only applies to land trade routes which, I'd say, are already mostly inferior to sea trade routes.

I think, but I could be wrong, that the bonus applies to sea-sea connections if on a river, but i'll need to check.

The bonus was a -13% reduction, back to vanilla level.

I've been slowly replacing a lot of the lower rez pieces lately with things I've thrown together, but I'm not terribly attached to them. If you are interested in doing art, feel free to PM me a list of ones you'd like to work on and I'll let you know which are open and which are verboten.

Problem is, I can see the image file which has all icons in a row, but I can't put names to the icons. And it's hard to find them in-game.

On warscore decay:
I decimated China's armies. I took two of her cities. She had no one to send to attack me, and I have no other cities to attack. By the time she would make peace, warscore had dropped from 100 to 63. Would it be possible to prevent warscore from decaying while it's impossible to make peace?
