The revolt is a success! Game's done.

My offer of using the patch as a Mod was so that there were no file mismatches and that those of you that preferred to run the non-fixed 3.13 could still do so with ease.

It meant more work for me as I would need to run the Mod each and every time I play. (I mean look at the change list, who wouldn't)

Meanwhile,

I sincerely feel bad for you. You're rude to others, un-thinking, have a sense of entitlement, and so far seem to have no redeeming features. I hope you're a young man and can go have a good look in the mirror, and actually understand how others percieve you.

As it stands you're not welcome in any games I run.

I thought long and hard about writing that, but others have voiced their displeasure about you privately. Maybe it's time someone actually had the 'hard' talk with you.

I don't know what I said to deserve that.

Troy, I just think a host should be more accomodating to the players. To just change the game to the use of a mod that no one has experience with without even polling the players is rather unfriendly. I doubt that I am alone in that opinion.

I simply explained that other games are running just fine with the file mismatch warning.

I'm out too. I'm not going to run any mod written by some phantom. I'm in several games where the patch has caused "file mismatch" warning messages; but they run just fine. v3.13 has serious repercussion for real-time games; but there is no problem with pitboss, either warlords or BtS.
