Black Screen

I am getting a black screen immediately after I start Medieval 2 Total War. I just got it off steam, and I have vista. My system specs are good enough, and the demo of it ran perfectly smooth at rather high settings. The funny thing is, I had the demo from before, and it played completely fine, until I tried it yesterday, I got the black screen.

I decided that it was the demo, and the real version would fix it, and when I start up the game, I get the black screen.

The demo wasnt downloaded off steam, so it shouldnt be steam that is the problem. Anybody else with the same problems, or anybody that can help?

Have you installed anything else since the last time the demo ran fine?

What are your computer's stats?

Have you updated your video card drivers?

I also recommend checking the STEAM forum for M2 and M2's official forum's tech support section.

Eh.. dunno.. probably Fallout 3 is the only thing
