-GUNPOWDER, BLOOD, IRON AND GOLD
As the Aztec empire collapsed on itself, the conquistadors of Spain and Greece were directed to rush to the native capital, the target: The 12 "treasure" piramids Of Tenochtitlan.
The experience of both sides was recorded by spanish missionarys and greek observers.

As commanded by the spanish new king and blessed by the Pope of Rome, we were sent with 3 major objectives, to convert the natives, record the events and aid the conquistadors in any possible way.
Cortez has been a great leader, he has made special use of our limited artillery, for w/out it we wouldnt had made it this far.
We can no longer get natives to aid us, not only are some angry at us for destroying their false idols, but because we are at the heart of the aztec empire, the most loyal live here.
We seem to always be vastly outnumbered, but our superior techonology is more than enough, the sound the cannons make alone scare half of the charging aztecs.
We arived at the capital, the so called "12 treasure Piramids" were nowhere to be seen, not until the sun came out. Turns out they were not vaults, but large temples covered in gold. they seem to be designed to reflect the sun light into the large sun piramid for unholy events.
Cortez has announced that we will storm the capital from the south tommorow.

We arrived long ago, i myself was far to the south conquering and taking gold, i realised that the vaults of tenochtitlan were not the real treasure, but the fertile land to the south, were we have found vast resources that one way could be exploited.
...but anyhow, a few months ago i received a message all the way from Athens, a rare event, there is no such thing as mail for us!. To my surprise it was from the highest place of government.
it wanted us to move north to the capital as soon as possible......it also wanted us to outmanuver the locals and avoid fighting.... i laughed, how could we do such if we knew nothing of where we were, the natives outmanuvered us every day!. But no matter, we were lucky to have our fine horses all the way from sparta. They are our most prized asset in our mission.
So we moved as fast as we could north. then another letter arrived, it wanted us to sneak into the capital and steal the gold........that is crazy!, can you move into athens and steal the ancieng statues of Zeus?, nope.
We realised we were not alone, the Spanish were at the complete opposite of us, they had camped north of the capital.
I once again read the letter and it suggested we looked for a place to hide and steal the gold once the aztecs or spanish were tired of fihting, the entire high command did not stoped laughing, we had left the thick jungle weeks ago, now the area was merely low grass and bushes, there is simply no way we can hide 4 entire army divisions. is as easy as trying to hide an elephant in my room.
Well, i knew it was not the fault of the government of Athena, they hardly had any idea what our situation was.....but no matter, they wanted gold?, well get them gold......I HAVE ANNOUNCED TO STORM THE AZTEC CAPITAL FROM THE SOUTH TOMMOROW!
THE BATTLE OF TENOCHTITLAN-
By an Ironic twist of fate the spanish and greek armys would storm the aztec capital, one from the north and one from the south. ofcourse neither knew of the others plans.
Tenochtitlan was heavily defended, the aztec jaguar warriors still outnumbered the european combined army.
In may 18, 1527, the largest battle in recent history would be fought, and perhaps the largest one in the history of the continent.
At similar times Cortez and Theron rallied their troops, both knew that once the capital fell, it would be the fastest ones who would get the gold.

"Men!, we are going to go up there!, we are going to fire our guns, our cannons and our crossbows.........and we are taking all gold for our mainland! and every soul for our true god!!".

the greeks too left their guns and cannons at camp. Instead they advanced w/ their iron pikes and crossbows (the greeks were after all the wolrds best pikemen along the genevan swiss mercenaries).

The battle went on, thunder, rain and blood everywhere, the europeans advanced in the city, many aztecs decided to run away than fight and die.
the Hardest place of conflict was in the center of the city, by now a few spanish were fighting the greeks who in turn were fighting aztecs.
At the sun piramid the emperor stood and watched, suddenly Cortez and his troops moved on, at the highest point cortez laughed "i told you i would be back and all this would be of spain!", he stabed the emperor and threw him off the piramid. at this sight the aztec warriors stoped fighting and left the city trying to move south.
The europeans soon moved to take the gold. the great reflecting gold ornaments were taken and were melted.
The spanish took control of 8 treasure piramids, the greeks only of four, but it was still a great accomplishment.
Cortez was asked if it was ok to attack the greeks and get that gold, but he refused, forces from both sides were tired, a battle between spanish and greeks now would have been a cathastophe.
The greeks took as much gold as they could and quikly left the city, they had so much that they abandoned their cannons and heavy equipment, every soldier carried a fortune of the yellow metal.
The spanish now had control of tenochtitlan, the aztec empire was nothing of what it once was.
RUSSIA BUILDS UP MILITARY.
The Russian new Tzar Ivan has spent every single kopek of the russian treasury increasing the army, the russian military has now grown from small to one of the largest in the world.
Russia has also officially announced that they will aid the protestants in Brandenburg.
NEW LEADER IN SWEDEN
Ragnar Savag has taken control of the nation, unlike the russians, he has spent the money from his treasury to develop infratructure in his nation. Because of this many residents are willing to take back the old religion of catholicism....while others burn at the new kings will.

For a few years the combined fleets of the catholics was able to presure the english to stay out of the conflict.
But on July 29 1526, the english spent much of their money building ships, the shipyards of London and the entire eastern english coast was devoted to it.
By may 12, 1527, the english had enough ships to launch an attack....and start a conflict of a scale not seen in decades.
The first target was the Bavarian main fleet, it started as a great success, most of the bavarian ships were burning and most sailors had jumped to the sea. but the captains and a few brave sailors remained, they knew their ships would not last long w/ the flames, so they directed their ships and w/ some lucky change of wind, would ram a line of enlgish ships setting them in fire. one of which exploed once it gonpowder supply was damaged. However these brave attempts were not enough, the english fleet was simply too large!.
The French and spanish heard the cannonades, but refused to go in, the english had set their ships in a line and artillery in the narrow pass of calais. it would have been stupid unless they had other ships on the other side.
The news moved quickly, they arrived in Madrid a week and a half later, as the new king of spain was being crowned. Ofcourse most of the leaders of the Holy Roman Empire, including the Pope were present were forced to act.
Soon the Holy Roman empire would be forced by allience to declare war w/ england and hlep Bavaria.
England Seems to be alone, other than the protestants in brandenburg and russian help. But there are also nations w/in mainland europe helping the english, sending economic aid.....for they dont like the HRE members either.

That was a week ago, now, the British ships in the Channel had nearly doubled, becoming larger then the entire Spanish Armada! His Majesty King Henry would no doubt strip him of his titles and honors for the offense of defying him. He was informed that if he had attacked, the British would have destroyed MANY of his ships and killed many of the sailors. That was the reason for him defying the King! But what would the King say to that excuse? He left his second in command in charge and went to Madrid .

Livonia was rather pleasant during the summer. The peasants worked in the fields as always, tending to whatever needed tending to and, in general, leading their normal lives. Few, if any, paid any real attention to the massive clouds of dust that signified the advance of hundreds of troops along the roads.
The Russian banner, a black double-headed eagle on a gold background, fluttered lazily in the wind above the camp of the regiment of Prince Radzhimovski. Soldiers conducted drills in the nearby fields, while more were still in the camp, waiting for or having already had their time for drills, swapping stories and tending to their equipment. The entire camp was abuzz with activity, and even Prince Radzhimovski himself was no exception.
"Lieutenant! Dress that line!" he snapped at an officer whose troops had not quite entered formation properly. Then, turning to his adjutant, Kozhov, he commanded, "Tell the commander of the Fifth Battalion to have his troops in drill formation right here in thirty minutes." Kozhov ran back to the camp with the message.
Suddenly--"Prince Radzhimovski!"
The Prince turned to see who had called out. It was a courier, a young boy obviously, probably no older than seventeen.
"A message for you, Prince," the courier announced, holding out a document. It bore the seal of the Imperial House. "It is from the Czar. Colonel Bolevetaynin told me to give it to you."
"Tell the Colonel I have received the message." As the courier left, he broke open the seal and read:
To His Excellency Mikhail Radzhimovski, Prince of Tula,
After much deliberation, His Majesty Czar Ivan has chosen you to lead the expedition to Germany. You are instructed to advance in aid of the Protestants of Brandenburg and to defend them against the aggression of opposing forces and/or individuals, to defeat any forces that should oppose you by whatever means necessary, and above all to bring honor and glory to your own name and that of His Majesty, as well as to Russia itself. You will have placed under your command... (etc.) You are instructed to move with all possible haste.

Prince Radzhimovski was stunned. He could hardly believe he had read the message correctly, yet the words were there, in black and white, for himself and anyone else who could confirm them.
Meanwhile, Kozhov had returned. Staring at his commander intently and guessing for what reason he was so perplexed, he asked, "Does His Excellency have any further commands?"
"What?.. Oh, yes, yes. Fetch me two couriers and tell the commander's of Vasiliov's and Brotnikov's divisions to converge onto the town of..."

It depends. We are only at war with those nations that are attacking the Brandenburg Protestants. If that includes your entire alliance, then yes. If not, then we are not at war with those who abstained. Ergo, if you have troops in Brandenburg that are there to crush the Protestants, or are openly planning to move any there for that purpose, we are at war with you.
