ok, first off, some things are off in the update.
1. a couple of the cities i built were not put where they should have been (one square off), so i moved them. they should all be uniformely fitting into the "grid" i've got set up. 1 is the middle one in the third line up from the US border. the other is just below the most eastern (up north) city i've got. both should be moved 1 square east.
now for the explanation of the attached immage.
1. the red dots at the upperright corner of squares are where my armies ended up last turn.
2. the red square with the city in it in alaska is my capitol. that's where i assume the 300+ armies are, they are to move along the red line going out of that city.
3. the cities i've colored in Cyan, are the ones in alaska that i assume built ships instead of armies. and they are to do so again.
4. in the territories i already owned:
the green dashes mark armies (including new ones built in cities) that are ot go south to the US/Canada border. they are to stay on MY (ie canada) side of the border, but i want all squares that i need to get all of canada at some point. they all can reach the border, and most can then move east or west to make the spread as even as possible (its 18 armies to cover a border of about 12 squrares, I'm not worrying much about the new ones i'm taking, so it should be something like 1 army, 2 armies,1,2,1,2,1,2 and so on).
the pink dashes mark the armies i want to head into the capitol, to join with the massive army that will be made there again at the end of the turn. there's 14 of em, so that should make it a 360 unit army next turn in the capitol (most new, some older).
the few armies not marked (mostly along alaskan northern and western coasts) arent marked because they reach neither of the "jobs" the others do, i want them to do one of two things (depending on which is legal). either board them onto the boats around alaska, or just disband them.
5. In Canada, the expansion:
every army has a gray line going from it through a line of squares marked by a random color, that's the path it takes and the squrares it claims.
The white squares inside the territory i took last turn, will mostly get claimed by the armies going to the Canada/US border on their way there, those that dont are to be claime by the "free auto expansion", i know i'm wasting a bunch of it, but i dont care.
6. the brown City dots and Squares are markers for where i want new cities built in the new and old territories (respectively). i didnt count how many squares i have and how many cities i'm building, and have the feeling i might be goin over my limit. if that is the case, disband cities in alaska that are too inland from the sea to build fleets, but are farthest from the capitol.
7. that small island under alaska, i'm claiming with the army(s) off the boat i built the turn before last.
so after all that, the orders boil down to:
some armies go to fortify US/Canada border
massive armie from capitol moves SE
alaskan armies go ot capitol to join new recruits
eastern armies move east at full speed
all coastal cities produce fleets
