Looks like they initially messed up precisely those 2 prices (russian and brazilian). It was 3.59 in brazil and 4049 in russia; and now it's 40.49 in brazil, and 359 here in russia (about 11 usd).

Well, they COULD, but Valve is a good company and honors its mistake. They definitely could pull the pre-order and rerun the money if they wanted to.

A usual they overcharge us here in OZ - 44.99 which is about 42 US on current exchange rates. Games companies wonder why people pirate things. I couldn't be bothered doing that but the clear overcharging does irk me.

Kinda reminds me of how my friend god 8 kg's of free m&m's the other day.

She was visiting the stores webshop for good offers and could order stuff ready for pick-up when she got there. They accidentally put the price at 0.

Normally they have rules against that kinda mistake, but apparently she was able to complain enough to pick em up for free. *lol*
