The king Gambit is UN-BUSTABLE!

When I'm White, 80% of all my games will be King Gambit. It's very strong and reliable, just look:

1. e4 e5
2. f4 exf4
3. bd4!!!!!!!!!

There! Un-bustable! Prove me wrong now, if you can.

Actually, Bobby Fischer preferred having the White pieces in a King's Gambit.

You mean 3. Bc4, right?

If I was playing someone who chose the King's Gambit, my second move would be 2. ... d5. It's a solid, developing move.

yes it's c4, sorry. Bobby Fischer made up this theory to "bust" the King Gambit, but it's bad.

isn't 2 ... d5 the Falkbeer counter gambit?

Yes, it is, called after that strong 19th century master. It was Morphy's usual reaction when confronted with the KG..
Fischer's "refutation" was about 3.Nf3 and it was written after that loss to Spassky. It can be found here:http://www.chesscafe.com/text/bust.txt
And here is is a very good page about the King's Gambit, by one of its best connoiseurs: http://hem.passagen.se/tjmisha/kg_index.html
You can find a discussion of that Fischer article there, just click on "No Bust" on the menu on the top of the page.
The Bishop's gambit which you play is interesting, and certainly worth a try. I also like the "lazy" Bishop's gambit employed on a couple of occasions by Tartakower:1.e4 e5 2.f4 exf4 3.Be2!?

What about declined (... 2.Bc5)?

oh, and the bishop on C4 is usually sacrificed to make an attack on the kingside later on after my D pawn is out and second bishop ready.

declined doesn't count! it's the easy way of busting

Declining the KG is a fully viable option, even if a bit passive. If you are a player of a positional disposition, this is quite a good opportunity, since you avoid all those murky sacrificial and you can just sit tight and wait for outplaying your opponent in the rook-ending... However, speaking for myself, I find this a bit too soft, I feel that white gets a very useful initiative; sort of a Giuoco Piano when you already have pushed the f-pawn,

After KG what do you think is the best way to counter 3. ... Qh4+. It's easy enough to defend against (the only possible moves being Kf1 and g3) but I know there must be some way for me to capitalize on it and end up with black's queen.
