Just to answer this in a different (not personal) way. When you feel that a mod maker is on a quest for perfection the best you can do to help him is to haunt down every single issue no matter how inconsequential it might be. In the end a piece of work in which such little things were attended to, gives a great feeling of satisfaction for its audience. I don't think that Amra minds pointing out spelling errors even though many are inherited from BTS. On the other hand I'd love if we just don't pick at each others. (Saying this while picking at you )

Whats up with ranged Bombard? Trebs and Cannon can only ranged bombard and that feature doesnt seem to work.

But if you are interested, these are a couple of reskins I made for the Karolin uu, grenadier and the rifleman, a very loong time ago. They're pretty much historical. If you want to, I could send them to you.
And maybe giving the rest of sweden's units norse skins, the ones the got now look wierd.

Just post 'em as reskins; if Amra wants 'em in, he will pick 'em up.

I just find some stuff interesting to read, it's not hard to see a spelling mistake if your acknowledging what you read. But i ain't goin through that Civpedia, lol. Only what comes up when discovering new techs.


btw conquistadors? (not sure if thats them) the new units that remove religions from Cities, i got the tech but can't build em. I guess i have to have theocracy? to build em? not sure but it doesn't mention anything about that in the civpedia. Havn't tried it with theocracy on yet, but i'll find out!

Sorry to bother, but is there ANY way to get this amazing mod to work on BTS version 3.17?

I uninstalled and reinstalled and patched to 3.13 just to play this mod, but I want my friends who can't reinstall to be able to play it.

If there's not a way to be able to play it on 3.17, is there any way to downgrade to patch 3.13 without reinstalling your game? I'd be much obliged if someone could tell me.

Didn't actually try this, but deleting the custom dll should do the job.

You could try either Solver's 3.17 or the Better BtS AI dll (or just not use a custom one).

There is no way to downgrade to 3.13 again.

If removing the custom dll still does not get the mod to work, try a different mod until Amra updates to 3.17, for example my mod

I guess you are talking about Amra Basic, as removing or replacing the DLL in Amra Advanced can never work. It is possible however to do it with Amra Basic. I didn't try it but theoretically it is valid.

Iwant to play your mod really bad but I get errors when I start. The first is a "GFC" error. The second is the infamous windows "_____ has encountered a problem." I installed the CIV IV patch a few days a go, and hten i installed this mod, v3 and its patch. Are these incompatible? What is it im doing wrong?

This isn't compatible with the new Civ4 patch.

You have to have theocracy for it.


Also on anohter note i have had that application error in game, bad allocation, also another popup states, not enough video memory. although i am running 34 civs =). Only happens after say 100 turns. Works fine though if you load the save up.

Ok so I fixed the GFC problem, by uninstalling CIV4 and putting hte modpack in a different folder. But now I get a Crash to desktop when I start a new game. Can anyone direct me to answer?
I guess I should be more specific,
this occurs when a new game is loading and the loading message says "setup map"

Might be hit and miss here, but do you load the mod up once you've loaded civ? or do you have it set so the mod automatically loads, via editing the "Civ4Config"?

If not try set it so it will automatically load the mod, amra has instructions for it somewhere.
