[BtS] DIPLOMACY: a mod for Diplogames!

@ Mamba; in my original mod I had the Sioux, Iroquois and Israel as new civs. I used the Sioux city list from Civ2 and the Iroquois city list from Civ3. I may have added a few names but I don't remember offhand.

My apologies, sir. I do now remember you saying something to this effect. I also just realized that it does say 'for 3.17'. Sorry to bother you, I will wait for the next release, no matter how long it may be.

I prepared some diplotext for Askia.

Decent approach :)

I know I took the Iroquois list from Civ Gold, which appears to be identical to yours (only checked the first 10 or so entries). For the Sioux I did compile a list of tribes and used that, but the Civ2 list might be a good idea too.

When you upload the files again, more than PM some persons I'm quite sure that most (including me ;) ) would be happier if you announce it here.

Of course, disregard this post if you already had this in mind.

If you used the Sioux list from Civ 2 and Iroquois from Civ 3 then all you need from me is to convert them to XML format?

I was at a staff party at work last night, and my head is throbbing! :(

But yeah, do you need me to post the names of the cities or do you have them already?

No reason to apologize, I have been relatively lazy in this regard. There have been opportunities for me to reupload it since FileFront last dropped it, but I converted to 3.19 and didn't see a purpose to doing it. But as I've said, I have to do it at some point soon, so I will. And I'll report it here and in PMs once this has occured.

No, CivFanatics has the city lists of Civ 3 and I'm sure I can find the list from Civ2 somewhere. I think I might have Civ2 in my old computer's "junkyard".

All right, you will have the new city lists sooner than I thought! I am done with all the Vanilla and Warlords civs. All is left is quickly go to through the BTS cis and see that everything is just the way I like it (in BTS the city lists are good and I found an old thread where the person who made those list actually describes what are these cities and why are they in the list, so no worries about BTS).

Forgive me for asking this again, and forgive me if you have already posted this, but I think it was you (IgorS) who mentioned a revised Barbarian city-list in which you had cities rather than tribal names. Are you going to include that as well?

Also; remember I am replacing the HRE with the Franks and the Native Americans with the Iroquois and Sioux in my new mod, as well as adding the Polynesians. So if it isn't too much trouble could you keep that in mind when making these new lists? Also being Israeli could you give me a good Israeli city list?

The Israeli(te) civ is going to cover both ancient Israel and its modern incarnation, so keep that in mind as well. Thanks.

Speaking of which, did you decide against adding Golda Meir as Israel's 4th leader?
I remember you bringing that up once, and someone suggesting Churchill or something as a base.
I remember the same for Thatcher, but I know you decided against that one (...oh god, imagining Thatcher and Meir catfighting. Must remove mental image.)

Israel will not be getting a fourth leader. I kinda thought about it, but I can't imagine how I'd make Golda Meier, at least not right now. On the positive side though, I am going to upgrade Ben-Gurion and Solomon.

Wooh.
And yea, Golda would be a -really- hard LH.
On the bright side, if you -did-? She'd make a good base for Richard Nixon. The ultimate espionage leader. On the downside, he's so inhuman looking it'd be near impossible to make a good LH of him.

Capo, I already gave you these lists a couple of times. I hoped you downloaded them and saved them somewhere on your computer... Well, I guess I'll post these lists again.
I decided I'll do the following: first I'll finish the Firaxis civs, then I'll go over the custom civs I have in my game and post their lists here too (it'll be in the same file). Then, I'll make a completely new Barbarian "city list" (will also be included in the new file). And finally, I'll make your Iroquois, Sioux and Frankish city lists. It shouldn't take a lot of time, and I hope you can have by the end of this week.
Now, regarding the Israeli civ. The Israel in my game is modern Israel (with Ben Gurion as a leader, the PalMach as a UU and a Kupat Kholim as a UB), so the city list is also modern. I guess I can make a new list for you with ancient Biblical city names too.

Don't worry about compiling an "ancient" list for Israel, I already have one that includes both ancient and modern cities that I can send you if that will help.

And sorry I didn't have the list offhand, my computer is a mess (it works fine, I'm just extremely disorganized) and in a thread with 120 pages its difficult to find things.

Alright, well everyone loves a preview! I'm revamping England right now, because I found a bunch of awesome units Chuggi made. I know I didn't show you the preview for England before but I still have a few changes to make in the Medieval era and then I'll post a bigger one. Here are the ancient units for England, I hope you like them! They are originally Chuggi's Celtic units, but I have reskinned them a bit to look more like ancient Briton-Celts. Let me know what you think...

(I'm not entirely sure who made the Kluddargos, so if anybody knows that'd be helpful, he's the guy in the middle of the Swordsman mesh group)

Nice, as a fan of things Celtic and Historical, I must say these look suitably awesome. Really looking forward to this. Thank you.

How about a judge for Israel's 4th leader? Like Joshua.

As for Israeli leaders... I always thought Suryavarman would be a pretty good base for Rabin.
