You have some great units here, The Capo!
I don't know whether or not to be insulted by that comment.
It depends on the unit, some are more difficult to make than others. And of course you need a little imagination too.
But the best way to find out is to try it for yourself.
No problem. If units are needed by LoR, that gives me double incentive to make them work properly.Eh, there are a couple of issues with the ancient set, I'll make the appropriate posts (I might need your help, AGAIN, achilleszero) and retexture some of the shields next chance I get. The industrial units look good and I am going to post some units to the DB now. I'm posting Swedish Industrial units, Khmer Industrial units and of course the Portuguese units I made.
They do look quite good. Very colorful and eye catching.I will say this though, the ancient Portuguese units look even better in-game (even with their flaws) than they do in NifSkope, its going to be quite a bad-ass set!
There are only two issues that should be easy for you to fix. The first one is the placement of the Axe on the Axeman, which I can't seem to get right. The second one is that the head on the swordsman appears somewhat invisible. Parts are visible and parts are not, its strange but I didn't take a screencap so I can't show you right now. Other than that they are fine, I just haven't skinned the shields yet so it shouldn't take long to finish.
I'll post them tomorrow, its getting pretty late now.
Here is a screenshot of the units as well as the two units that are giving me trouble. I have also included the Horseman because I can't decide if it looks better with or without the shield, so I figured you can decide which looks best for the unit, I tried to make the shield look good, but I am not entirely happy with it, plus I think the location of it is kind of off. But other than those nitpicks I think they turned out pretty good.
Hmm... now that I see it, I think you should keep the Escudo as Portugal's default symbol. It looks like the German Maltese cross. Not enough to be confusing, but it looks like it.
