Yes atlas works like that. Forgot which is first horizontal or vertical right now off the top my head.

Are the buildings buttons like you want them. I mean just like you gave me. Because those are easy to squash. Do you guys have photoshop? I can help you guys a lot if you know a little on it.

All the buttons changes sound good. Just need to take a break for now.

The missionaries if we using gods of old ones. I can recolor their textures to match the color of the block and fix them up in the Gods of Old atlas.

Have you looked at the FF routes? We tried them in WoC for sea colonies again and they looked really damn good.

Corporations I will look up some stuff on the buttons unless you guys already have some stuff for me to work with. The biggest time will be finding examples.

Anyway I wanted a break from coding keldath. Just take care of the terrain and I would happy not to have to mess with it. I did try removing stuff from the SDK BTW. And did do something but still look liked it might of caused some problems in the worldbuilder.

If you could tell me as well...

If you try Final Frontier look at the flags there in game. Would you guys want that?

Anyway I got run for now. I will try to whatever I can. Just time being the biggest thing.
 
With FF I do not mean change flags. It adds an extra effect to the flags. It makes then look like a holocube effect in way. Like it is being projected is why I ask. Versus just a normal flag.

I have a button template I sent up before. Here it is again. You can just drop the image in the bottom the flatten image with the border area on top.

I do not mean change anything. Just extra tweaks that will not change anything already made.

Yeah could you make them into buttons for us please. I'm very busy-I'm doing like 10 things right now involving civs and leaders.
 
Just wanted you to see the template if you do try any buttons. It makes it easier I think. The flag effects in FF are some interface effects that has to be turned on globally I think.

I figured out the flag effect. If you don't like do not use it. But it is a really simple change I just found.
 
I did this. I do not know if you guys want it or not. I found the text entries from Civ4 vanilla for fresh water. And well I put in a blank spot and made a text file called water so everyone will know what is changed to water text.
 
If you guys will look at this I think you will like it. It is the FF routes I got them ready to go. Was not that hard.

ok, changing a nations flag, shouldnt be a problem, though i once wreched one :)
pjeonician, the flag files are under a folder named teamcolor in the art folder inside interface folder,
the flagfiles are there,
just pic one and insert the flag you wanna have there,
then save as a different name and your finished,
if you wanna add it to the game - you need to go to the file - civilizationartinfo.xml under xml\art.

shouldnt be hard.

johny - perfect work! the atlas is great.

as for the routes, well they are on my to do list,
though im gonna name routes as tunnels - there where no rpads in dune so i kinda invented underground tunnels as a name concept, i might use the ff routs, or maybe some road rouute, also im not sure if i wanna have a train like route in the mod - what do you think people?

as for the water text - thank alot its also one of my to do list !!!

this weekend im gonna focus on naming all the religion and corporation names,
and then start assigning the art that you guys have made, cause i bet you wanna see it inside already... but mostly ill try to figure out the map generation and land .
ill do the building models afterwards,


johny, i saw that glider is about to go with revdcm2woc, so....if youll merge it...it would be nice,

Just want you to see what I am talking about. But the flags do not show very well on a screenshot. They are transparent a little. I just think you need to see the FF flag effect. Really can not display it well.

I tried actually some today on it already.:)

Maybe I have something else on and do not realize it. It should have most of the water gone on this.

Tell me if it is not working please. I tested continents with it.

It goes it your python folder, but you probably already know that.

ive been tweaking alot with the mapgen, also with your file - its good, but, it still wont give me what i want,

if you look at the map, youll see that land is set in the equator latitude, and the desert on top and button,

im trying to make that the grass/arid terrain will be scattered on the map, not centered on the equator line.
 
Well someone needs to write a new one to get it scattered I think. It is doing what it is doing because there is no water I think.

I am not familiar with writing scripts from scratch though. Maybe should try a request for one. I think other planet modders could use it as well.

Is it enough to test the AI though for now?
 
The screenshot does not do it justice. It is the same size I think. I am not sure.

If you see it in game it helps if you have not. But really don't care one way or the other about the flag. I just think it looks more futuristic.

What is used in the Dune Universe for flags? I mean would they ever be projected?
