[BtS] "Extra"

@kharas: Oddly enough, the game keeps working fine for me. No crashes whatsoever.
Maybe (and this is just a guess) you should try playing on lower settings? I've noticed that some PCs have trouble with the industrial age onwards, and since you were on the verge of discovering Scientific Method, that MIGHT be it.

That may be the answer, because my pc is a quite older for today standards, but I still have a doubt, because even the last FFH2 versions runs ok in my computer.

Thanks.

First Hello and Thank You for this fine mod.

I have a problem with the meso-american religion. Every time I or one of the KI discover this religion for the first time BTS crashes to desktop. The crash comes not, if I invent the religion with the world-builder. The tecnology calendar is fine, if i choose religions manuell; but if I choose the religion crash comes.

I played with 3.17e and now with 3.17g. Both versions in German language. (Thatsway my poor English.) In both versions crash comes. I had Civ clear reinstalled at the beginn of 3.17g and updatet.

Can somebody help me?

I can not get the mod to actually load. I've played the mod 'Extra 3.13b' perfectly fine for quite a while and just now trying the newest. The game keeps crashing when I'm loading this version.

The windows error signature reads the ModName: cvgamecoredll.dll. Is there a windows setting I have wrong?

Ha! That did it. I recently re-installed the game and do the 'check for updates' in the game menu and it came back saying no more updates. Thanks for the heads up :)

Second problem: There are skins for the Heavy Swordsmen for the both new indio-cultures (Cherokee, Apache) missing.

hey, thanks for the mod but i was wondering, is it possible to combine Thomas' War and MaxRigaMod that would be freakin awesome. I might even pay for it lol =P But if theres a way i could do it myself could you instruct me?

Could someone advice me a little.. I'm having trouble loading the mod. When I try to load the mod it just thinks for a while and then crashes. I'm using Vista 64 and I have the complete edition and I've patched bts to 3.17. It's the same problem with every mod I've tried.

This looks like a very cool mod! Unfortunately, I'm having trouble playing it.

It locks up when certain leaders (David and Kazimierz) are selected on 'Play Now' or met in-game, and their Civilopedia entries are completely blank. Since this is identical to a problem I had with another mod (Thomas's War), I'm fairly certain it's an error in the .xml of the non-shader versions of these two leaders.

Blame it on Vista. Perhaps you can run XP compatability mode or something. I'd check around the forums or google to see more Vista 64 support.

You should try a clean install, perhaps the other mod modified core asset files and not files in the mod's folder and that is why you are getting the problems.

Er... no, I'm pretty sure it's an error in the non-shader XML. Thomas's War FIXED the identical problem, and that was the diagnosis its creator gave.

Assuming Kazimierz is a different (Polish-accurate, I assume?) spelling of Casimir, one of the leaderheads is even the same.

Vista 64 is not the problem. The game run fine on my pc.

You say the game runs fine, but every mod crashes right? It's can't be "every mod" that is messed up it because people use every mod with no problems. It must be Vista or something else, not the mod.

I've met this leader in game no crashes. If it should crash for me, it's not a problem with the leader in this mod because it works for me and others, and the problem is as I said something with a legacy install - a fresh install without other mods (Thomas' War) should fix it.

If it is a random problem that only affects some people's systems then it's something that should be looked at.

Kudos. I love this mod. I think you've done a great job with everything. In the next version can I request that some more African civs are added along with the Future Gunship being linked to a later tech? I seem to have Future Gunships without ever having regular gunships.

There's a messed up city name for one of the Apache cities

Also Mangas seems to be bugged or something. In two different games he's had over 50gp per turn to trade as compared to the usual 10ish or so the other leaders have. In this screenshot currency has barely been founded and I'm just exploring the world so it's pretty early in history for him to have this..
