Aspyr have posted a (currently incomplete) release page for Beyond the Sword.

Anyone got a hat I can eat?

Yep. I've got a Microsoft soft-bill cap found along the street-side you can chow-down on. ;)

This is front-page news worthy, eh.

Yeah, well. I'd rather see them finish the release page before I hit the front page here! There isn't even a release date yet!

If you work that out from the currently available data, you win a virtual coconut.

This is quite awesome.

However, it must be just me, but I don't see any mention of Mac in that link (granted, the picture doesn't come up for me- I have no idea why).

If you click on the system requirements, it seems to be legitimately intended for mac...

In any case, why would Aspyr resell the PC version? Firaxis have already milked that market.

Interesting that my GeForce 8800GT isn't in the list of supported video cards.

Even though I play Civ IV now via Bootcamp, I am very happy for the mac community!

Although, I must say that I am rather surprised there is this little excitement. Maybe this should be advertised more?

Edit: Maybe put it on the Home page, stickied or post the link in every thread mentioning when the release was going to be?

I think most of the hype for a mac version of BTS has died down after Aspyr waited, oh, 2 years to say they are going to a finally port the game. I for one probably won't buy the Mac version, unless I'm feeling especially generous. :p (Or if we ever get an SDK!)

What would you suggest we publicise? If you know when the release is going to be, please do tell!

Let's be clear. There has been no announcement by Aspyr. All we have is an unlinked and incomplete web page under construction, and an ESRB rating entry.

Oh. I thought that it was officially published.

Nevermind then.
