So, the objectives of the round were:
- To secure our sources of seafood: FAILURE
- To raze the two barb cities: SUCCESS
- To build more workers and settle more cities: PARTIAL SUCCESS
...we started by whipping a couple of workers in Bombay, using the 2-pop whip as best we could:
Meanwhile, the barb galleys were being a nuisance close to our seafood near Delhi. No problem, I thought: I have the two galleys built by kolokol last set.
While defending in Indian territory near Delhi, Galley 1 (Delhi) loses to Barbarian Galley (2.00/2) (Prob Victory: 67.8%)
While defending in Indian territory near Delhi, Galley 10 (Delhi) loses to Barbarian Galley (2.00/2) (Prob Victory: 50.0%)
Oh. Yes, that's right - the first attack was at 32% odds, and the barb galley won without a scratch. The second attack was at 50% odds... and the barb galley won without a scratch.

Sorry guys, not much you can do about that sort of bad luck...
Our attackers of the barb city had better luck, though.
So much so, that they regrouped and attacked the second barb city only a few turns later, with predictable results...
We also received tidings of an unfortunate event (for the Germans, that is).
This could be bad news - if it's barbs, then the likelihood is that someone will take over his cities and his land, and that someone is going to be quite powerful on the other continent. I haven't heard any tidings of GGs in distant lands, so I assume it's a barb event.
And that's about it. We deficited our way to Currency, which was where I stopped, having played 12 turns.
