Bug Reports and Technical Issues

I've noticed that if there's no second Malayan city (Chaiya mainly) then Portugal's trading company conquerors will instead target Ambon. However, troops won't actually spawn there, probably because it's a one tile island. So I ran a "messing around" game to engineer this exact scenario (had to delete a rare non-Chaiya second Malayan city). Is not getting conquerors for Ambon intended behavior?

The first save is before popping the GE to finish TC, the second is after, if it makes any difference.

The next turn culture in the city of Byzantium drops from 1615:culture: to 1496:culture:. What's the problem here?

Also this loss of :culture: happened multiple times before in this same game.
Spoiler culture :

Did you capture or recapture this city recently (I think you are playing the Turks)? You convert some of the owner's culture to your own after capturing but it reverts after some time. I can check it out regardless but that is the most probable explanation.

I captured the city on the first turn of the Ottoman game. Please do check if it is working as intended.

Another abnormity: the next turn the Byzantine civilization collapses, and Orthodoxy dissappear in 2 of my Orthodox Turkish cities(Amisos and Trapezous). But I have Orthodoxy as the state religion! Something is wrong here.

If this is intended (and predictable), maybe the effect should be added to the tooltip?

For example add a line:

"- x :culture: from recent conquest "

This would make this mechanic more transparent and also make it easier to check if the code misbehaves.

Assyria UHV goal 1 part where you have to gain gold by conquering cities.
On Normal game speed you need 250 gold, fine that very doable.
But with Marathon game speed i its 3 times as much, 750 gold.
I think that is both unresonable and impossible to achieve due to stability.
You simply can not conquer or raze that many cities as it requires.

Loot gold also scales with game speed.

The goal is not possible on any game speed then.
It's totally possible on Normal. Just sack every city that you conquer up until you get it - usually I have it done by the time I'm invading Egypt, if not well before then. I'll try to squeeze in a Marathon game in the morning before I leave tomorrow to make sure it's the same, but the game really is balanced around Normal speed.

How are the strengths and challenges supposed to be interpreted? It's unclear to me what they mean. For example, right now America has:

Strengths: [ICON_SCALES][ICON_HAPPY][ICON_GOLD]
Challenges: [ICON_MAP][ICON_GOLDENAGE][ICON_GOLD]

How should I interpret this? How is gold a strength and a weakness for America?

America has high potential for stability, happiness, and commerce, and the UHV will require the pursuit of expansion, wonders, and commerce

Challenges does not refer to weaknesses but the kind of accomplishments you need to make (when playing for the historical victory).

Getting an error with the Historical Victory. I think it might be related to the music, because it doesn't play. Save is from the turn before.
