Bug Reports and Technical Issues

Yes, it's unlikely that this is the fault of your setup, please upload saves for all of these examples if you have them.

I'm receiving a crash to desktop after capturing Florence from the Italians. 600 AD scenario. Save attached, simply capture Florence with the adjacent stack and see if you can replicate it.
This did not crash for me, but produced a bug where Italy immediately came back due to units relocating to Florence and recapturing the city. Fix comes with the next update.

Crashing to desktop upon hitting next turn in the attached save.

In another mod-specific Polynesia game, there was also a python exception thrown because of a C++ exception that happened when a great person was born. I think it was due to a problem when drawing the interface for the Great Person's actions.

(all updated to most recent git)
This save does not crash for me on latest git, can you update and check again?

Only the "Stuck GP" problem can be consistently reproduced upon reload of saves. The crashing and city screen glitches cannot. Also, these glitches don't always happen when a GP spawns, but I managed to catch one easily using Egypt (didn't save on the prior occasions).

In case they are not reproduced, I have attached screen shots showing:

[1] GP in City Screen

[2] GP can be moved in City Screen

[3] GP stuck, no light bulb icon (also can't Settle when Settle button is pressed).

Something is wrong with tech tooltip help...

I don't get it? What is wrong?

Oh, I'd like a save then.

Playing as Turks i have two of my cities flipped to Byzantine Empire. They seem to have Collapsed and lost two of their cities and ALL of it's military but gained two of my cities. Save from one turn before.

Spoiler After :

^^ Must be unintended consequences of collapsing to core mechanic. If only Istambul would automatically get Palace relocation for human player also -- this would have not happen...

But my Capital also flipped.

Oh that's right! After Turkish spawn Byzantine core has to shrink to exclude anything in Asia. I am divided about Constantinople, in principle it irritates me how Turks capture it 3 turns after their birth when it took them 150 years to get there... SO maybe reborn Byzantines can offer some resistance.

How many collapses to the core are allowed, @Leoreth? Should there be some limits, for the sake of human players' sanity?

Some of the 600AD Turkish games i played, Byzantine is quite strong and have a good stack in Constantinople making impossible to rush it. And they keep reinforcing the city with troops from the Balkans and Italy which delays even more the conquest. But those games happens 20%-30% of the time in my experience. I eventually loose those games because i don't have time to get enough culture in Constantinople to build 4 wonders.

The easiest Turkish spawn is when Constantinople is defended by a few longbowman or is controled by a poor Independent guard.

And by the way Russia is quite strong in the game, they usually control the Black Sea when my army is ready to deal with them and pose a serious obstacle to the second UHV :goodjob:, one i haven't been able to overcome YET.

Did you switch to Turkey from another civ? Does this persist on save and reload?
