This did not crash for me, but produced a bug where Italy immediately came back due to units relocating to Florence and recapturing the city. Fix comes with the next update.I'm receiving a crash to desktop after capturing Florence from the Italians. 600 AD scenario. Save attached, simply capture Florence with the adjacent stack and see if you can replicate it.

In another mod-specific Polynesia game, there was also a python exception thrown because of a C++ exception that happened when a great person was born. I think it was due to a problem when drawing the interface for the Great Person's actions.

Did you switch to Turkey from another civ? Does this persist on save and reload?
