Bug Reports and Technical Issues

They did make it as far as Persia, so I think that triggered the spawn. All right then.

For some reason the same Ottomans also have anti-tank units (1400 AD).

Sometimes, the turks declare war in the first encounter I have with them. Is that intended? Saves attached.

European civilizations begin with Catholicism even if the religion was not founded yet.

Monarchy description in the pop up advisor says that the civic reduces maintenance from distance of Palace, but this is not present in the civics description and effect and in civilopedia. Elective description in pop up advisor doesn't describe it reduces costs from barracks and stables.

Tibet dynamic name when capitulated to china and its capital is in indochina is Tributary Yindunixiya State. Yindunixiya is the mandarin word to Indonesia, which doesn't make sense to the context of the gameplay. Instead of Yindunixiya, it should be Tubo or Tufan, since this is the earliest name recorded in chinese documents.

Have you been using world builder in this game? The default unit to place is anti-tank, because it's initially selected as the alphabetically first unit. It's easy to accidentally click while world builder is open and unintentionally placing this unit.

Here's a same issue. Chinese vassal of Thailand is named Tributary Tujue State (which refers to Turks).

Can you upload a save for that?

I did, so that’s possibly why it happened.

Opening the city screen for the city of Turfan makes a Python Exception that I can't close, I have to close the game.

Not sure if it's an oversight, bug, or intentional but the flip zone for Byzantium has foreign territory in it

The game is working (at least the script) as intended, but it's pretty irking that Turks (as a vassal) still have their conqueror event while vassalized. At their 1129 AD mark, also forces a declaration of war by the master (Arabs in my case) vs. the Byzantines.

Your cursor isn't visible in that screenshot. I assume you are referring to Phasis?

Oh my bad, yeah Phasis isn't in the Byzantine historical or core area.

Alright, thanks. Just making sure I am checking for the right thing.

That's an interesting mechanic and would normally make a lot of sense but doesn't apply here I was Rome and hadn't expanded beyond Constantinople. It was under Persian control. I even ran a second test game (partly cuz i got my ass kicked on spawn) and sure enough a city flipped in that region again even further East.

@KMRblue1027 Well that situation is interesting and not intended to happen… What I know is that the flipzone is hardcoded somewhere and can't be edited by WB. Can you do some tests to find out the true flipzone of your Byzantine? You may move those Persian cities by WB to find the easternmost tiles of flipzone. Then Leo may see if anything is wrong.

I can investigate that stuff myself, thanks. No need to spend too much time on it.

Sometimes turks reborn already in a state of war against me, even begining at peace. Save attached.

Turks begin the game with the dynamic name Western Turkic Khaganate. This name is historical, but this khaganate only appears after the civil war in the First Turkic Khaganate that divided the empire in west and east.

Playing as Turks, when I defeated an barbarian War Elephant it doesn't flipped to my command, instead it was destroyed. Is the UP only works on horse mounted units with exception of the Keshiks that suffers the same fate as the War Elephant?

In the 1700 scenario, Prussia/Germany begins with the dynamic name "Prussian Peoples" that only changes after they reach a new era or change civics.
