Bug Reports and Technical Issues

What is the method you used to get the mod?
I downloaded it from Github. You and others helped walk me through that process.
I understand this has probably been addressed here a dozen times, but I am trying to download the latest 1.18 develop branch from github.

Several things make this difficult. I am computer illiterate, and I play on the steam version. I did fine following the instructions for the official 1.17 link, but I have no idea what to do with that github copy/paste situation.

Also, I have tried to delete 1.17 and just download/ unzip the recent develop into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization IV Beyond the Sword\Beyond the Sword\Mods

but when I start up the mod, nothing happens. Just BTS loading screen.

Love your mod Leoreth. Tried it a little last night. Known about it for years, but too ignorant to attempt the download.

Using that process for the develop branch should give you the most recent content. Perhaps make sure that you delete your existing mod beforehand.

Is Cristo Redentor meant to not be buildable when running Secularism? Because historically Cristo Redentor was built long after Brazil dropped Catholicism as its state religion.

I'll look into Crystal Cathedral to see if that's the same case.

There's something about the 1700AD scenario and civs which start with some UHV goals set as completed in it. For instance, Congo starts with the first goal set (achieve 12% of votes in the AP election) and you can then aim for the second (1000 gold from slave trade by 1800AD).
First is that when reloading a save, the amount of gold in the objective's counter seemed to jump upwards for some reason, but that might be specific to some problem with this UHV.
Second and that's the main problem, if I save the game after achieving the goal then quit, when reloading and advancing a turn the game informs in a popup again that the goal has been achieved, triggering the golden age again as well as the -2 attitude penalty, both of which add up. Kinda related to how the popups for failed UHV goals also keep popping up in every reload for the civs that have them set as failed in that scenario.
I also noticed it with France back in the day, with its second UHV goal of 40% controlled territory of Europe and North America

Can you tell me more about the issue with the required gold in Congo's UHV? What do I need to do to reproduce it?
