I'm running CP and CBP and nothing else and i have a crash after enabling the mods after the "configuring game data" screen


None of the thing you said me to do worked:
deleted the cache

verified the integrity of the cache

deleted other mods

if some of you have any ideas well... i don't have any

sorry if i'm annoying but i'd really like to play with these mods as i tried them on another computer and they're awesome

sorry again this is the last time i ask for help i promise :)

You can also try the following:

-re-download CP and CBP, just to be sure you got the latest and compatible versions
-completely remove EUI (I read you are using it.. which version is it?)
-make sure to delete CP's LUA-folder when using CP and CBP together
 
I'm having the same issue... However I do not use CBP and use EUI's last version(1.27c).
Database.Log shows this when the game crashes:

n Query - select Features.ID as FeatureID, Yields.ID as YieldID, Yield from Policy_FeatureYieldChanges inner join Features on Features.Type = FeatureType inner join Yields on Yields.Type = YieldType where PolicyType = ?
 
Must be friendly, must be able to afford it, and must make tactical/economic sense. If you can't meet those conditions, they won't take it.

Ok, I guess it's the "friendly" part that I'm missing. Not sure it makes sense, but that's another topic :-) thanks

bugs I've had with CP CBP C4 CSD 9-9 v2:

A few turns ater I DoW a leader, he suddenly declares war to the whole world in one turn (or almost, like everybody but friends maybe). Happened three times on my last game; never saw that, looks like a bug.

My Laborers tooltip into the city says "+3:c5production:" but they give only 1 hammer
My engineer should give 5 but gives 6 :c5production:. Base yields oc.

The production numbers in Economic View are wrong when I build something. Like 8%.

Typo in the tourism breakdown tooltip: repeats xx from World Wonders and xx from buildings

Bad one: My embarked units have 7 movements. But when I debark them by a city, they keep all those movement points, so here is my canon with 6 movement points on the land eg... (imperialism, polynesia)

Happiness numbers are correct, but when I hover the toolbar, the breakdown includes my extra happiness from luxuries based on population into the Difficulty Level. I also lost the explanation "you need to raise your pop to xxx to gain more happiness from luxuries"

i don't have EUI but maybe i can try to download the autoinstall version (the new one with every mods) and see what happens

This is a good idea. If it does not help, I would try reinstalling Civ5, then remove all mods (even the deactivated ones) from the mods folder and then run the game with CP only on a small Continents map with standard settings, so that you have the most basic setup.

Probably completely unrelated, but I would also decrease the graphics settings to minimum. Also, is the game installed on drive C: ? Is your game in English? Have you tried running it with DirectX 9?

That's all I can think of ...
 
Doubt: Doge's Palace (Venice unique building, replaces Palace) doesn't have a Great Work Slot. Is this a bug or is this supose to be?

Well, if it's, it fells a little strange cause tradition gives a GWWriting slot and a GWMusic slot early. It doesn't give an early GWArt probably because the palace already has, however Doge's Palace doesn't have (I know it gives a +5Thourism with Guilds).
 
I'm trying to use "More Luxuries mod" however it always looks like buged all luxuries in map, kind exist only one plot of each luxurie in an Huge map. (maybe I just miss install)

EUI or no EUI?
 
Don't know what to tell you. I assume you have all leader DLC and expansions. If so, and you followed all installation instructions. It should work. No other users are reporting this problem, so it must be an installation/user issue. I'm sorry to say that, as I know it doesn't help, but it's all I can do at this point.

I reinstalled the game, and now it works :)

Health and Plague has its own cityview.lua file, which will cause all of CBP's cityview changes (tooltips, etc.) to not show up. This is a side-effect of using H&P.

Specifically says that it does not give a great work of art slot in the building (in the description).

OK, thanks; I'll avoid using H&P in my next games.
I saw you withdrew E&D from your "How to Install" Post, do you recommend to skip it as well to avoid other bugs and incompatibility problems ?
I like those two mods as well, but they need some re-balancing and / or compatibility changes to work properly with CP

Your call, really. E&D works, but it is not terribly well balanced, nor is it bug-free (and thus a lot of E&D lua bugs are pointed to me, which is a pain to sort out).

Don't be needy, there's about a million things I have to keep up with around here. :)

Not sure. That sounds like you are missing something, or a mod that adds feature yields from policies is breaking. CBP doesn't add such a beast.

Since the new patch I've been jointly DoW'd by two AI in the beginning of 3 games (started several to test this).

My suspicion is that the warrior boost (I'm on Prince) the AI receives is causing them to make weird war assessments (they've been fairly distant each time). Perhaps this is exacerbated by new DoW logic in general, not sure.

Anyway I'm not concerned for my sake, but I've noticed these civs often run behind after doing this.

EDIT: Just experienced a civ(Morocco) warning me of another civ's plotting well before spies...?

I tried the autoinstall version and it doesn't work... crash at the same time

i'll try reinstall the game one of these days when i've time
the game is in english and with Directx 9 simply because i can't use 10/11

Goddess of Festivals gives neither the faith nor culture bonus for me. 9-15 version. Full CP/CBP/etc. auto install + tectonic map script, info addict, and really advanced setup.
