Hey G,
Any chance you might be able to look through this dmp/save game and see what might be causing the CTD? The crash occurs after a DOW Request from China. Regardless of response, the next event is the CTD. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Got the two saves with the dmp file. I also noticed that the recent updates were suppose to remove some of the issues with peace deals, but i dont know if the CTD is necessarily related. All i know is its chinas fault! :mischief:

They said they are working on a fix for the CTD after diplomatic prompts. Sit tight :)
 
Hey so thanks for the help earlier, I got another issue now.
I cant click on the reasearch tab when it comes up at the bottom. the only way i can reasearch is thought the top bar. Any thoughts

I cant click on the reasearch tab when it comes up at the bottom. the only way i can reasearch is thought the top bar. Any thoughts

I do not want to sound rude, but are you joking??? No surprise your game is broken if you are using this crazy amount of mods, there must be several conflicts. Why are you even doing this?

My wild guess is these will be problematic:

  • AI - Smart (v 2) - sort of inlcluded, moreover it uses DLL and you can have only 1 DLL mod active at a time, so it is either this or CP, I am surprised the game even started
  • City Limits (v 7)
  • Global - City Bombard Range (v 2) - already included
  • Global - Passable Forts (v 3) - already included
  • Global - Spice Islands (v 1) - already included
  • Global - Truly Free Great People (v 1) - already included
  • Promotions - AntiAir Only Defensive (v 4) - already included
  • Promotions - AntiAir Specialisations (v 1) - already included
  • Tech - Boat Building (v 1)
  • Tech - Free Mining (v 1)

Please note the above is not meant as a list of recommended mods, it just tracks which mods are technically compatible with CBP and which are not. If a mod is listed as compatible it still may be poorly ballanced with CBP. Also if 2 mods are listed as compatible with CBP, the 2 may still conflict with each other. I suggest you drastically reduce the number of mods you are using and then when you have a safe set-up, you can try adding more step by step.
 
A quick update on the "random" AI civ turn taking too long:

After playing a bit more, turns for Korea suddenly started taking well over a minute (before they took just a few secs). So I mass-killed all Korean units with IGE and now their turns are taking 2 secs again. So it definitely has to do something with units.

Just so you know, I'm experiencing the same problem you are. Turn times are so long I can't even finish my game sadly. I'm sure they'll fix it though, they're pretty good at this. Just gotta put the next game off until that fix :)
 
Hey, I cannot get this mod to work. I tried just turning on the Community Patch, and it just crashes to a black screen and then the desktop. I also tried enabling the other mods that were downloaded from the site (I used the installer). No luck.

I am using XP, maybe that has something to do with it since it is so ancient?

Help would be appreciated. Yes, I also cleared my cache (the one in Civilization5/cache in the user profile).

First it says +5% GPP for every franchise, but at the bottom it says the franchise gives +10% GPP to all offices!
 
Despite being told constantly by Gazebo, there are still many people coming here with problems when they are running dozens of other mods. You are only going to get helped out if you are running with the minimum recommended mods installed.

Yes, I did that too. I would really like to play this... maybe I have to put the mod in Program Files instead of My Games under Documents?

All mods go in MODS folder.
EUI goes in DLC folder.

Yes I have the complete edition, all DLC.

Am I supposed to enable the DLC mods in the menu as well as the Community Patch mods?

EDIT: Also, I am having problems with the EUI in the BNW Vanilla. It won't show the modifiers that lead to the yields on everything (production, etc.) except tourism. It just says something like "recalling" or something like that instead of the helpful information. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Also, just to clarify, yes the EUI is in the DLC folder under Program Files, and the Community Patch and its derivatives are under Mods in Civilization V under My Games.

You are clicking 'next' in the mods menu, not back, yes?

As others have said, that is a lot of mods and there may very well be several mods which are incompatible. Note that some of those mods are already incorporated into the CP/CBP
  • Global - City Bombard Range (v 2)
  • Global - Local Generals (v 2) - We need Gazebo to confirm if this one is included already
  • Global - Passable Forts (v 3)
  • Global - Truly Free Great People (v 1)
  • Improvement - Pontoon Bridge (v 2) - i'm pretty sure thisoneis incompatible, but there is one on the Steam workshop which is compatible
  • UI - Trade Routes Enhancements (v 6)
