Additional mods:
IGE
Pick's Unit Panel for LiveFire

I noticed when another civ DoWs me that civ can plunder my shipping trade route. However, when I spot that civ's own trade own trade route out at sea and try to plunder it, the option to plunder is greyed out with a message that I can only plunder routes of civs that I DoW. Huh?

If it has a certain corporation (Firaxite, I think), its trade routes are immune to attack!

Actually, it is world war (ideology) on me and I cannot take out any of my opponent's trade routes. I know that Firaxite is not everywhere as I obtained it a few turns prior the other civs DoWing me and only a few handful of cities had a franchise on my trade route map.

What version are you on? I fixed a bug related to this in a recent beta.

The final game I played on the 2/24 beta:

Poland was neutral country while I fought a war with Morocco. I captured a Moroccan city but was having trouble defending it. Poland approached me with a lump sum offer of money for Ouarzazate. I accepted and received the money, but then Morocco captured the city (same mid-turn) and Poland never received Ouarzazate despite having purchased it.

The last stable version from the install thread. I'll be sure to check out the beta.

Oh, a few more things. I noticed that the installer in the stable version assumes that the steam directory is under C:\Program Files (x86), the usual default director. However, my steam directory is under D:\Games and I don't recall the installer asking me for a steam directory. It wasn't much of a big deal moving those EUI files to the correct directory for me, but I gather some might be confused when EUI doesn't work for them.

Another is WHoward's Pick'N'Mix UI mod for condensed promotions eliminates all of the EUI from the left side of the screen while leaving the information on the right side intact. I guess I should post this in the EUI thread.

EDIT: I deleted the stable release's 6 folders from D:\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS and unzipped the corresponding beta folders (7: 1a -> 6a). However, the game will not allow me to run any of them save for (5) more luxuries. It says that I'm missing dependencies (BNW, which I have; and game versions between 1 and 1). :\

EDIT 2: Turning off (5) more luxuries and turning everything back in order worked.

AI keep offering me or demanding from me these blank gifts. (3rd time in this game) I cannot click on accept, I have to click on refuse to keep playing.

This is an issue with using modpacks. Unless you absolutely must, please use the standard mod install method.

The installer doesn't assume C:, looks at your registry for your Civ install location. If you've moved it manually, or installed it without using steam, it won't find the right place.

Hmm, odd as steam has been on my D:\ drive from day one and obviously I installed CiV there first. Later, I symlinked my CiV game on D:\ to my SSD on C:\ (C:\Steam\CiV) using mklink, which shouldn't mess with the registry key. Do you know happen to know the location of this registry key containing this info?

EDIT: Value for LastKnownPath under Computer\HK_Current_User\Software\Firaxis\Civilization5\ is D:\games\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization V

Not sure, then. If the installer can't find your civ directory key it defaults to C:/, so it might just be a local quirk.

it takes 7 turns to build farm, pastures 8, road 4

with 25% bonus from either progress policy/pyramids farms takes 6, pastures 7, road 3

with both 50% bonus farms 5 pastures 5 road 2

some inconsistencies here?

road seem to get boosted much more proportionally

Old EUI bug with work rate. Can't help that, sorry.

The only thing odd about this is the road, which should take 3 even with 50%, the rest is correct math.

No it's not? 25% of 8 is 2, so 8 -25% of 8 should equal 6, not 7. 25% of 6 is however 1 something so it'd be okay if it were 5.

Gazebo, two questions:

1. is there something funny around Barbarian (63) cities and growth rate? It seems much higher than ordinary civs (including city states).

2. have you experienced using pPlayer:Found() creates a city but causes a CTD on that player's next turn but spawning a settler and pushing the Found mission creates a city that doesn't cause the player's next turn to CTD?

I've seen this bug before too. Barbarian cities seem to grow about 1 population per turn. Then, after liberation, the population rapidly crashes down to a sustainable amount.
