I Gazebo,

I updated the CP and CBP from Version v66 and v12.2 to the newest release:
  • Community Balance Patch (v 12.6)
  • Community Patch (v 66.4)

Whenever I try to create a Game with the following Mods my Game will crash to desktop:
  • City-State Diplomacy Mod (CSD) for Brave New World (v 25.1)
  • Community Balance Patch (v 12.6)
  • Community Patch (v 66.4)
  • Yet (not) Another Earth Maps Pack (v 22)

The Game will work if I deselect YnAEMP and only have the first three Mods active. Until my update to the newest version of CBP and CP it also worked with the YnAEMP, so because of the CTD I assume that something has been changed in the DLL of the Patch.. But I am not sure...

Before I tested each possibility I deleted the following folders:
  • cache
  • Logs
  • ModUserData

I do NOT use EUI.. I don't know what's going on there. I uploaded the log files and the minidump (because I don't know how to open this file..)

I hope someone can help me :)

I'm still getting stuck with the "processing city states" hang on turn one.
Playing Polynesia on a standard Archipelago map (8 civs, 16 CS).
Logs are attached; only oddity I can see is in the LUA log which shows some CS being placed in region -1 (which may be quite normal).

Not sure if this will fix it, but I noticed there is a link to CSD 25.2 on the CBP download page. Maybe give that a try?

It will not fix my problem, BUT after I installed "TSL Giant Map Gedemon (Cookie's version) (v 3)" it will work. Cookie changed the Map of YnAEMP slightly, I don't know what, but it will fix the Crash to Desktop. Anyway I really would like to know why this Crash is happening with the normal YnAEMP version.

You cleared your cache before running the new versions, yes?

Sounds like a bug with the city settlement. If the other version works use that. :)

It will partially work, like NigelC I can not pass turn one now, at least the Game is not crashing anymore. The Game waits for the City-States, but this will never happen.. I hate it, I know that this is a problem of the YnAEMP Map, but in CBP v12.2 and CP v66 everything was fine even with the YnAEMP Map.. :sad:

I uploaded a new log again, where the City-States are going to load for ever.. Maybe one can fix it..

Except Nigel's problem wasn't with that scenario-style map, it was the standard maps. I can only do so much for compatibility. I'll look at it when I work on the CBP again, but I can't make any guarantees.

Thank you Gazebo, your support is one of the best I ever saw in a modding community. I don't want to hassle you to get this issue done, you are obviously ^^ more into your mod and you could maybe find the reason for my error quicker than I. It is funny that is was working in the past, so something must have changed.
 
Am I able to continue my save that was broken before with this new version or do I have to start again a new game? :/

Playing with 66.3.2/12.5.1 and there are some crashes in the game. Normally I just start the game again and load my savegame and fine is. But there is now one crash that is always happening.
Uploaded my save, for the next turn the crash is always there - cannot continue the game. Any ideas?
 
something seems to be wrong with the "world religion" resolution ... i managed to get it enacted and got 44 extra votes out of it!

you were right, there were several problems in the resource placement file of the "TSL Giant Map Gedemon (Cookie's version) (v 3)". So like duplicated row's or missing entries in the YnaempTables.xml and the CivilizationsRequestedResource.xml. I fixed them by hand and all related errors are gone (so far as I can see it). I have now another problem: Because the map is working now, the Game will crash when I try to create a game. So the same issue like with the "Yet (not) Another Earth Maps Pack (v 22)" Map. I made some investigations and the result is that this is related to the Community Patch, so this were my scenarios:

Game will load correctly, I can play:
  • City-State Diplomacy Mod (CSD) for Brave New World (v 25.2)
  • Yet (not) Another Earth Maps Pack (v 22)

Game will crash when I hit Create and the loading screen is going to appear:
  • Community Patch (v 66.4)
  • City-State Diplomacy Mod (CSD) for Brave New World (v 25.2)
  • Yet (not) Another Earth Maps Pack (v 22)

In the Database.log, you can read something like this:

They will not occur when I only select "City-State Diplomacy Mod (CSD) for Brave New World (v 25.2)" and "Yet (not) Another Earth Maps Pack (v 22)". Maybe this is some hint for you. I uploaded my logs again, it should be now much clearer to understand.

CSD 25.2 doesn't have a DLL, so you are only loading database changes (which is probably why it loads). I'll look into it.

Edit: Just downloaded and tested that map pack. I was able to successfully load it, alongside the CP/CBP, and played a few turns as Korea. It works, so far as I can tell.

Got a bug that I cant do anything with the archeological site, and I cant end my turn.
I got this site from an event(Events and Decisions quest) near the capital, maybe that specific event site is bugged?

That's odd. I will have a look into this by the end of the weekend, first of all thank you for trying it out :goodjob:
