Hey all. You are all still doing an awesome job. I twice started a game with the Incas, using only the mods in the how to install page, and both times the game did not manage to process beyond the first turn: durring the city-states phase my computer started overheating, and I could not get out of civ. Had to restart the pc. I unfortunatelly did not have logging enabled since I reinstalled civ only recently. The strange thing is that I played another game with the lattese version 12/1/2015, as Maria, and everything was going well. Any thoughts on the issue?

I assume you deleted all the mod compatibility files for mods you aren't using, and you rearranged the LUA as-needed?

I'm terrible at these things, but that sounds kinda like the issues you get when trying to use EUI without the proper workarounds.
 
I'm getting a crash after founding city, choose prod., choose research, move unit, next turn on water maps, archipelago, oceania on 13.4-5 66.13.2-3 with various countries. I did get 2 maps to play after the first turn out of @ 20 tries. I didn't really play on ocean maps before so I don't know if this is just a mod problem?

Have Civ IV Dip, CBP, CP and Glob. Rel. Playing King.

I did get 2 maps to play after the first turn out of @ 20 tries. I didn't really play on ocean maps before so I don't know if this is just a mod problem?

Have Civ IV Dip, CBP, CP and Glob. Rel. Playing King.

Since the update 66.13.2 & 13.4.4 (including 66.13.3 & 13.4.5) I am getting visual errors in the tech tree screen. I have emptied the cache and moduserdata folders as per usual. Nothing else has changed, and I have been playing this awesome mod since 66.

Unfortunately, I can't take a screen shot because it just comes out as all black. The only way I can describe it is that the tech tree looks fine for the first 2 layers of the tree, then it looks like it's all corrupt.

I am playing as China on Immortal if that makes any difference. Hope it gets fixed.

Are you using CSD and Civ IV DF? If not, are you adjusting the LUA and mod compatibility folders as needed? If you have the Firetuner installed, mind booting it up while you have the game running, click the tech screen, and then paste any errors from the firetuner that appear?

I cleared the cache and the moduser data again and it is working ok. However I then exited civ v abrubtly, and again the game does not process. So I guess I now have to "exit to windows" from the menu...

Did you use Alt + F4? That's not the most polite way to close a program. Games like Civ save game state data when you 'close' them, so I'd be careful about force-quitting them. :)

Indeed, the easiest way to close down civ from my experience is trying to load a save or reload to the menu :D

Did you download the version of Civ IV DF on the 'How to Install' thread? Also, are you running civ in a foreign language?

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, I downloaded from that thread and no, I am not playing in a foreign language. Like I was saying, the mod was working perfectly fine until 66.13.2 & 13.4.4. Nothing else was changed except I installed the newest of you balance mods which broke the game for me.

Perhaps the mod got corrupted somehow. I am going to redownload the CIV IV DF mod and reinstall.

Yeah, the folder caches are cleared and I wish I was using EUI (so great), but still waiting for the latest compatibility patch.

I tried just trying the game with no mods to see if the game it self was perhaps corrupt, but it's fine. I then disabled all the other mods I was using except CBP and CP. I still get the error in the tech tree. Here is the Live Tuner error log:

I then tried just enabling CP and it works fine. So it's something in CBP that is causing the problem.

Shouldn't be, but I'll look into it. Also, link to Global Relations? I'd like to skim it for compatibility stuff (haven't heard of it).

I just downloaded new version from today (13.01.2015) and when I meet a civilization I got strange "mix" of everything:

Edit2: I started a new game with only Community Patch, Balance, More Luxuries, Events and Decision and City-State Diplomacy - still there is the same problem :(

Edit3: Everything from Edit1 and without Community Patch, Balance - problem solved, so I think it's something wrong with your mods :(

If not using Civ IV DF, make sure to delete the mod compatibility files from the mod compatibility folder in the CBP and move over the lua in the CBP from the inactive to the active folder (see the how to install thread).

Omg, I'm just too tired today, I think :D I did this in previous version and forgot to do this in the newest, I'll report if it fix the problem.

Edit: Everything is ok now, thank you for fast reply :)
