I can build both Garden and Baths in 1 of my cities. It is an inland city next to a big lake (the lake is connected to another smaller lake by a river, and the smaller lake is connected to sea by another river if it matters ...).

The 2 buildings are mutually exclusive in all other cities of mine and I have seen this situation for the first time in CBP. Using bunch of other mods as always, but do not think that any of them should be causing it.

CBP version 5-23-2.

UPDATE: After I built Garden, the option to build Baths disappeared, so the game did not let me build both eventualy. I think this is not a big issue, it just confused me a little in the beginning

Using the latest CP CBP C4D CSD More Luxuries E&D EUI + compatibility files
Arabia gets the bonus yields on desert tiles without the need of trade routes or city connections.

An annoying thing, sometimes clicking the "Exit to main menu button" Exits to desktop instead. This issue exists with the restart button as well.

Yeah, I've had the same experience with an AI Arabia in my game. Saw the yields.

Dude got into the Industrial Age before 1600 on Prince.

This worked for me without having to redo the MOD Data/CACHE folders.
(Always a good idea to do so anyways...)

I also can confirm no resources at all, excepting for ones that show up when a technology is gained AND it exists inside of a Nations(NPC or yours) Cultural Borders.

If not, and everywhere else in the world, nothing shows up(fish, wheat, luxuries, iron, etc.)

Confirming this as an issue as per above in:

PS: No Huts, either...
Using the same files above with EUI, also, and a full re-install did not change anything.

Tested with Vanilla BNW and everything works with Huts, Resources and Luxuries everywhere.

I got exact the same problem city states and goodie huts dont spawn. And I got like 4-5 rescources in the map in total.

Error-filled LUA log here. Warning: I'm using the CPP packed as a MP_MODPACK.

There seems to be an error in CBP EUI compatibility/EUI/EUI_tooltips.lua:2106. There's at least an identifier missing, and I have a feeling the error is cascading.

Yes, it seems it should look like this
Spoiler :
-- PRODUCTION
local function getProductionTooltip( city )

local isNoob = civBE_mode or not OptionsManager.IsNoBasicHelp()
local cityProductionName = city:GetProductionNameKey()
local tipText = ""
local productionColor

Which file? It is (edit: has been, as of a few weeks back) fixed in the EUI_tooltips in the actual EUI installation. The EUI_tooltips file in the CBP-Compatibility file is outdated and there only as a backup.

then the install instructions are wrong?

So I played a game as Korea. Both I and Siam had a declaration of friendship with Ethiopia. I declared war on Siam. A few turns later, Ethiopia approached me. There was no text on the leader screen, and all I could do was press escape.... I'm assuming it had something to do with Ethiopia being distressed by its two friends at war...?

Did Ethiopia declare war on you when you went to war with Siam? Did you still have a Defensive Pact with Ethiopia?

Confirmed. The trade bug still exists in the latest patch (5-23-2). If AIs propose, trade works. If I propose, it doesn't work. It's game-breaking, damn it!

Don't get frustrated, we can sort this out.

By 'doesn't work' do you mean the deal is accepted but doesn't pass through?

Also, give me a list of mods you have installed.

Using the 5-23 CPP (with CBP).

I can't put plantations on Marsh Sugar. Intended mechanic? I'm asking with regards to jungle plantations (which can be built without needing to chop the jungle), and well, since it's locking my out of all my sugar luxuries until Machinery.

Yes, as you can't build on marsh until you have the ability to clear marsh.

There's something funny going on with workers. Sometimes while occupying the same tile after one turn, you can only see one worker icon above the head when there are multiple workers. More frustrating though, if you accidentally order a worker to improve a tile already being improved, it starts over.

G

There were no defensive pacts involved, just the declarations of friendship, and no, Ethiopia did not declare war. just approached me with a textless leader screen.

Huh. I'll look into it, but it may just be a random quirk. If it happens again send me a save and your mods folder.

I'm getting a CTD when trying to end turn after loading a previous save (made with the current version of the mod). It loads fine and I can start a game fine but if I close the game, then open it up again, load the save and press end turn, it crashes nearly instantaneously.

I use the full install + E&D, deleted both Lua folders I had to, then the following mods:
  • Gibraltar, Reef and Krakatoa fixes
  • Greatest Cities
  • Historical Religions Complete
  • InfoAddict
  • Cultural Diversity + Soundtrack
  • ExCE
  • Less Ice on Maps
  • Map Labels
  • More Luxuries
  • Really Advanced Setup
  • UI - City Religion
  • UI - Religion Spread
  • Wonder Race
I have been getting ctds when opening InfoAddict so I'll investigate not using it.

It's 75mb large!

Been following CP for a while now. Great concepts, Gaz! But I'm having problems entering the Culture Screen (Top Right, next to Policies). The only way in is by clicking on the Tourism icon, over on the bar between Golden Age and Religion.

But even then I see no listing of my cities! Only one line, the Capital (in this case Rome). I am in Industrial Era with seven cities and several assorted Great Works. I have no way of moving my Great Works around to get the Tourism bonuses. Nothing happens when I click on a Great Work of Art, for example.

Am I missing something?

Using only CP 5-23-2, CBP 5-23-2 , More Luxuries, etc. No EUI, CSD, or C4DF.

Also AI spam cities on every available tile. I play Large, Continents. By the time you can build a Pioneer there is nowhere left to go!
